Almost 30k here. Outstanding wear and traction, no noticeable defects or extra noise like others have reported. 245/75-16 E. Although, the sidewalls suck and Cooper as a company sucks. I contacted them about the sidewall issue noting how others have had the same issue and that this tire is rated...
No way. The 110 is a LOT bigger, and can carry a lot more weight. I've owned, loved, and built two XJs and they don't come close to a 110 in any respect.
Oh, ok then. Then yea, a winch and some good kit to go with it... land anchor, extension cable, tree saver, etc. Throw some max tracks or whatever knockoff traction boards on there too then. A recovery strap is useless for you. Honestly, you can almost always just dig yourself out with a shovel...
I live practically live on the beach all summer with my truck. Where is this thing living? You don't need lockers at all. Rust is going to happen, so just let it happen.
Stock size or one size up (Would be 31s I'm thinking for a Trooper, I'm not 100% sure) with a mild all terrain or street-ish...
If you plan on living in it, ESPECIALLY with another person, get a Suburban or a domestic van. My D1 is tight with just me and my dog on a weekend trip.

I ordered them in 2011 and called them about it in spring 2012. So I don't know if anything has changed since then. Parted the truck out in 2013 and have no idea where the shocks are and what they look like now.
Exactly. Key word: tuning. A 5100 is great for someone with a stock rig to drive around town and occasionally hit a dirt road. You don't really notice it with something like a Jeep or Yota but on a full-size rig loaded with gear and bumpers/winch/etc that weight makes the shock useless REAL quick.
Yea, the bolt-in Fox 2.0s are usually only +/- $20 at most a corner difference than the 5100s. I still recommend "factory replacement" yellow Bilsteins for people, but thats just for someone who needs shocks in their truck to drive around town. My FIL got those for his 1500 Chevy for under $300...
I was pretty disappointed with my 9100s. The nickel plating is absolute garbage and it only took a single NY winter to turn the finish on my $1300 worth of shocks to rust. Bilstein basically told me to pound sand and that I need to wax and polish them to maintain the finish.
I won't even buy a...
I could give the front end a pass if everything else was great, it would probably grow on me. The drums out back really put me off though.
I haven't driven one yet, and won't be in the market for a new truck for at least a year anyway. Plenty of time for all the new trucks to roll out and get...
