Cool find. I will pick these up for sure.

V8-powered Jeep Wrangler crashes Ford Bronco's party

The V8 is going to be sold at boutique levels for an outrageous price. It's not going to be in the driveway of every Joe 6-pack. It will be like buying one from AEV on sale.

The locker version is the M210 with 8.66 ring gear. This is the one you have doubts about?

Delvac vs Mobil 1 gear oil for a 1st Gen W59 manual.

OK sort of answered my own question on that. GL5 is not swell for syncros despite being listed in the FSM. So I will just have to track down some Mobile 1 or Redline MT 90 somewhere everybody only seems to have 1 quart lying around.

Delvac vs Mobil 1 gear oil for a 1st Gen W59 manual.

Any one use commercial Delvac 75w-90 gear oil for a transmission vs Mobil 1 75w-90? The FSM says I can use gl 4 or 5. Delvac is gl 5 and Mobile one is gl 4. I can get a gallon of Delvac for $30 vs $60 for 4 liters of Mobil 1. Be nice to not muck up the shifting but it would also be nice to...

Things to hate about a 2020 Tacoma...

I test drive a RAV 4 once with someone who wanted help buying a car on a snowy day. Driving completely normally and not aggressively every time there was 1centimeter of tire slip the vehicle would scream at you the traction control was on and cut the throttle and beep incessantly. Just driving...

    Hema vs Gaia

I tend to do my organising over PC or just use the browser of the phone, which I agree is stupid to have to do. For me the degree gaia is better in ios doesn't make up for all the deficits and cost of ios. I can't stand ios as a daily driver but to make any sense for me I would have to buy a...

    Hema vs Gaia

The fact people are still avoiding Android tablets "because they don't work" to buy iOS w/o GPS is mind boggling.

    INEOS Grenadier

This was a cool nugget from Wikipedia I thought. "The B58 also features an engine-mounted heat encapsulation system to reduce engine wear and emissions during start-up.[13] As a part of BMW's new modular engine family, the crankcase is a completely new design identical to the B57 diesel...

12V USB Charge Port vs. Power Bank Question

I bricked a power bank using it to charge devices while it was itself charging. I think the battery management freaked out because the charging load made it think it needed to disconnect the cells. Since it was 30,000mah there was no way to reset the BMS because even with the LED flashlight on...

Colorado/Canyon Duramax Diesel DEAD in 2023

It's a straight six. It is long in the full size truck. The packaging would never work for the midsize platforms. The 10 speed trans is huge too which probably also does not help.

    4 cyl. Tacos?

Dude what are you talking about? Seriously? I'm not trying to argue but you just keep making stuff up. What you are saying is just not accurate. On a 1st gen for instance the payload for a regular cab 4cy 4wd is 1775 lbs and a double cab V6 4WD is 1360. Yes the V6 has more power but that has...

    4 cyl. Tacos?

A 3RZ Taco has 41% more power than a 22RE and cruising along with the cruise control on while sipping coffee is hardy masochism. I'm not claiming its a Buick but implying you need to avoid freeways is silly. Nice 7. I was supposed to drive a nice rally Cortina once but it got wrapped around a...

    4 cyl. Tacos?

LOL get out of here with that. An 80's 22RE with an RV body attached is in no way relatable to any gen 4 cyl Taco. A first gen reg cab 4 cylinder has a payload of 1800 pounds which is Gladiator territory these days because it's so much lighter than any other version. You don't have to pack...

Lag bolt length for tent stakes

I find the fluted stakes so much harder to drive in rocky areas. Skinny metal stakes for hard dirt and sand screw type for every thing else. I used to use 8" lags but am trying to get away from bringing power tools and dirt really froze to the lags way more than any other kind of anchor making...

    New Defender Rage/Hate Thread

Seems like a brake downsizing kit rally car style would be a no brainer. LR should just offer it with a software re-flash and be done with it. Has any tried it with rally wheels designed to fit over large brakes yet?

Nissan throws in the towel, ending US production of NV and NV200

Those G vans are some of the worst riding and handling vehicles still being made with one of the worst most awkward driving positions. My Jeep CJ Is the only thing I can even compare it too.
