Who said he did? I responded to his rant about how silly vehicles have become.
It would be a whole lot simpler if you wouldn't keep taking offense and making up BS when I state the obvious.
Man, I hope Ozarker comes back soon, so you can entertain yourself with him instead. :ROFLMAO:
No. You want a stiff plate at each mounting point that is large enough to spread the load.
Specs on the skin, the foam, the adhesive, and the ladder would be helpful.

The fatality rate for a mini car is ~7x higher than for a pickup. Typical cars are ~2x higher. SUVs are slightly better than pickups.
All of them have to meet the same standards for...
You left out the fact that...
1) EPA regulations favor larger vehicles.
2) If you drive a small vehicle it's dangerous in a collision, when everyone else has big ones.
3) Can't see around you, when all the other vehicles are taller.
4) The chicken/truck tax means they are safe from foreign...
IME the truck handles fine (even with no swaybars  ) and handles wind quite well, and the MPG hit is ~15%, with a fixed camper with 75" of headroom. The potential low branch issue is addressed by not mounting things on the roof. I'll probably end up getting a pole saw at some point for...
You don't. I can't believe you were trying to school us on mounting to the subframe, and you haven't even thought of this...
Best guess since you didn't put reinforcement in the panel is to bond reinforcement externally and mount to that.
It's definitely got some #1 as well.
I said when it came out that it was a modern version of an oversized muscle car, with a zero to 60 of 2.6s. The truck bed and rear seat are bonuses. And the $100k price for that model is far from silly considering what other vehicles cost.
No EV is viable...
Regarding ground clearance, one of the more challenging situations is going through a ravine, and dragging the rear. Your trailer will tend to hit that way before your jeep if they have the same clearance. I'd go for the same diameter tires your jeep has.
The simple and efficient way to make a...
Ya, avoid wrenching critical components every time if at all possible. The bars are the tough one.
If you already have the garage, this probably won't work, but if the garage side walls were straight up and you turned your bars as much as you needed to, wouldn't it fit? You may need to get...
What is the coating? And pardon my poor memory, but what foam did you use?
The light grey PU paint I used on the roof is whiter than my white truck! But that's fine, it's good to keep it from overheating. You can use whatever you want on the sides, because even in calm conditions the sun is...
Diagram?
Frankly... if I had a choice in the matter, I'd take habitat falling apart due to a cross wind, vs the whole rig being knocked over. :p
At any rate, you can make a decent estimate of the forces on the attachment, when there is a side force sufficient to flip the rig. Just...
What environment will you be in?
It's not how I would do it, but a simple build with good 1/2" ply should work. Glue and screw it together, and coat the exterior with something durable and waterproof. No exposed screws, seams, or penetrations if you can help it.
