    diesel in jerry cans?

not really worried about being questioned. and i would paint them or label them appropriately when carrying diesel. i just wasn't sure about using them for diesel after gasoline or if the gasket on the gas can was different from the diesel can. i thought i read the sceptor cans had different...

    diesel in jerry cans?

sorry for the ignorance but i was wondering if regular red jerry cans can be used for diesel? i was thinking that they should be the same as the yellow cans unless there is a difference in the gasket. is it safe to use a can for diesel that previously held gas?

Building My Overland Tacoma: Plans, Progress, Perplexions

nice work, and i like the idea of the platform extension. could you explain the extra blocking on the horizontal and front to back center pieces? is it just for extra support? and what thickness plywood did you use for the deck? and gues on overall weight?

    rovingowl's mild taco build

streaker, how much leaking have you noticed? i noticed some wet areas inside the bed yesterday. i think some of it is coming in through the windows, but i also saw some water around a few of the nuts where the tracks are bolted through the top. i have to get to the dealer where i bought it...

'06 Tacoma TSB Rear leaf replacementride quality?

my experience with the tsb leaf pack is similair to overland-hadley's. it rides much nicer than the original 3 leaf and isn't harsh at all. my only complaint is that it still sags a bit when loaded. i also have the same thule system on my leer cap and agree that it works quite well. i've...

    bfg at vs. cooper st

as you guys have mentioned, my truck only sees high speedfor brief periods of time and only sees sustained speeds of about 75 - 80mph. am i correct in assuming that running lower than maximum psi would be slightly safer? what psi is reccomended for on-road travel in a 235/85/16 for an '07 taco?

    bfg at vs. cooper st

what about speed rating? i certainly don't drive my taco like a race car, but the cooper is only speed rated to 87mph vs the bfg to 112mph. on highway i have definately topped 87mph.

    bfg at vs. cooper st

thanks for the replies. i realize that any tire can have a flat and that nails are good at this on any tire, i was just noting this as the only experience of trouble with the bfgs. my last set of bfgs lasted about 55k, which i'm not sure the coopers are up to. they are about the same price...

    bfg at vs. cooper st

i getting new tires this weekend to replace the factory dunlops on my '07. i've narrowed it down to bfg at k/os or cooper discoverer s/ts. i've done alot of reading and people seem to really like the s/ts. i've had bfg ats in the past and have always gotten excellent mileage out of them and...

    new tacoma and some questions

thanks for the welcome and info fellas. just to be clear i have tsb springs installed. that rear doesn't sag really, it just doesn't seem as heavy duty as i was expecting. i keep going back and forth between buying a suspension or not. sliders will likely be in the future, and i like to swap...

    new tacoma and some questions

i recently bought an 07 tacoma to replace my '93 pickup. i chose the base model with the only options being the 4.0 v6/auto and a sliding rear window. i did this beause i don't care much for power windows/doors etc. i also can add an arb locker (if deemed necessary) and skid plates from the...
