    Nissan Titan/FRP Flippac Build

Not a bad shift in plans at all toward the FP interior build up. :lurk: BTW I'm running house lights, an Engel MT45, and a 12v pump "very carefully" (for now) from a single battery also. Second battery / NL powerpack / and fuseblock install to run all ATFP house power as soon as $$$ alow.

Good news, maybe bad news Flippac

You know you're just going to peel off that sticker and eventually change everything out to your own specs anyway. :coffeedrink: Happy Birthday BTW. Pretty cool Mrs. you got there! Post up some pics of the new setup when you get that arm changed out.

Good news, maybe bad news Flippac

:clapsmile Another fine example of xlnt customer service, and just one of many reasons I chose an AT Flippac.

    Go4Lo's '02 Tundra build

To be honest accessing the back seat via the half doors on the Tundra started to become a PITA (especially parked on a hill or in a tight parking lot, moving a toddler in/out of the vehicle). It's more convenient with 4 real doors and rear windows that roll down (vs tilting out a couple inches)...

    Go4Lo's '02 Tundra build

Go4lo, Great rig choice! You picked one that was well taken care of too! We loved our '00 Tundra. It was a great family exploring/camping rig. We kept it for just over 200k, before trading it in on a DC Tacoma. Looks like you've got a good build plan all lined up. Have fun. :sombrero:

    Doc's AT FlipPac Build Thread

Very clever and usefull new additions to the ATFP Doc! In particular I like the way you plumbed your new OBA and the multiple usage of the central shelf/swingout table. BTW, that sure is a cute little kid you have there. Our 4 1/2 yo daughter has also been our faithful explorin' / campin'...

Flip Pac vs AT Camper (or FWC)

No worries. I'm sure you'll figure it out. You can't go wrong with either the FWC or the FP. If you're not in a huge hurry AT should eventually have the same waterproof tent material that's used in thier JK Habitat available for the ATFP. Take a trip over to Prescott and check 'em out if you've...

Flip Pac vs AT Camper (or FWC)

I'm in total agreement with these statements as well, and I use my ATFP in the rain ALOT; a couple extra minutes at most to attach the rainfly. I beefed my rainfly up with NikWax too. I can also disassemble my entire interior set up solo, by removing two bolts and two turn buckles. I never have...

Corey's 2007 FJ Cruiser built for expedtion/overland, & daily driver

Hey Corey, Sounds like it would be a custom job that you need if you eventually add a rear bumper. Check this link out. Jason is a local guy (Puyallup) that does very clean, solid fab work. Super cool guy with a great attitude and work ethic. http://www.perkinsperformance.com/projects.html Walt

flippac sizes for Tacoma new and old

Harp, In case you're interested, here are some close up examples of the "copious amounts of silicone and bulb seal" that Doc mentioned. I took a suggestion from him earlier this year and did a meticulus job in sealing "everything" up incl the tailgate and rear hatch. Sounds like you've done...

2003 Tundra Expedition to South America (listing of Maint & Mods)

Nice, solid platform. I had my 2000 Tundra for a bit over 200k. It was fun to build up and a great rig to travel in. I'm sure it has gone even further with its new owner. A couple others on here love these as well (ie..the post above). Have fun with your build and good luck with your one year...

    Partner stoves

A good friend of mine (in Colorado) aquired a Cook Partner stove this summer and also does some high altitude camping. He says he really likes it. He works in Boulder (near you) and probably wouldn't mind giving you a demo. Send him a PM here on ExPo @ "randall haynes".

Flippac + Snow = I need your experience

What do you think about treating the ATFP tent itself with the NikWax spray bottle version? http://www.nikwax.com/en-us/products/productdetail.php?productid=502&activityid=1 Better yet, maybe Martyn or Mario could lend thier thoughts/opinions on this? I think they really "hit the bullseye"...
