    WASURF63's New ATFlippac

Plans? A rough sketch at best, which was recycled long ago. I "can" share a couple important things to consider... Test fit all the equipment/gear you plan to carry as you frame your design, or at least know thier dimensions. A very noteworthy item with '05+ Tacomas: the front width of the...

Thanks for the flattering words. Of course you're aware that WA is a CWP state right?:costumed-smiley-007

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.:ar15:

    WASURF63's New ATFlippac

I don't see myself drilling into the top of the ATFP or mounting any type of rack to this rig either. Been there, done that. I prefer to roll in the stealth mode when it comes to surfing anyway (no display of boards, no surf stickers, etc).

    WASURF63's New ATFlippac

Thanks for offering this awesome platform. It fits the bill perfectly for us, and has become very cozy indeed. I appreciate all the kind words.:sombrero: Regards, Walt

    2010 Tacoma DC LB Sliders

PM sent to you with price. Jasons work is top notch. Solid craftmanship, clean lines, and attention to detail. That goes for his bumper work also.

    2010 Tacoma DC LB Sliders

Thanks. I did consider a kickout initially, but these seemed huge enough already. The sliders on my last rig stuck out too far for my liking. Although they did provide good protruding boulder and tree protection, we were always banging into them and navagating carefully when stepping out of the...

    WASURF63's New ATFlippac

Thanks! I swear I didn't copy any of your designs. (Ok, so I did...:sombrero:) Does that table look kinda familiar, but with a twist? I will snap some photos of the water tank system and post 'em up when I get some free time (hopefully this week).

    WASURF63's New ATFlippac

I trimmed it all off with some inexpensive patio furniture cushions. This was my lazy side that got me thinking it would be easier to wash these or just toss them once my dogs (and 4yo daughter) thrashed them. I also built a protective, removable panel for the fridge/freezer comp. Note the...

    WASURF63's New ATFlippac

Next... I sealed up all the known gaps/holes that were letting in dust, water, and cold air with a combination of bulb seal gasket and heavy duty silicone. (Thanks to advice and examples from others in previous posts). Then I made the bed floor of the truck a little more comfortable with some...

    WASURF63's New ATFlippac

The basic idea was to construct a 3-piece easily removed bench storage system. I wanted to keep it fairly simple with 2x3 framework and 1/2" birch plywood paneling. (Thanks for the inspiration TacoDoc.) Comp#1 : forward bench to contain the water storage tank and the eventual National Luna...

    WASURF63's New ATFlippac

We've been out using the ATFP quite a bit this summer (exploring/camping/surfing), using it in its nearly stock form. Loading and unloading storage bins everytime we go out has motivated me to finally start an interior build to help organize our gear, and improve on the ATFP's comfort. Update to...

    2010 Tacoma DC LB Sliders

I recently added a set of bolt on sliders courtesy of Jason @ Perkins Performance here in the Puget Sound area of WA. I havn't seen too many Tacoma LB trucks with rock sliders, so I thought I'd post a few pics. For those that are curious, 101" long / 74 lbs ea / 25 degree angle / Grade-8...

    Different Scepters?

Each are also identified by a color coded fuel cap strap. Red = gas, Yellow = diesel.

Anyone else being blown off by Autohome?

I've owned a couple Autohome RTT's in the past as well. As Corey stated, Mike went well above and beyond with customer service a few times for me as well. He always kept me informed and returned calls in a reasonable time frame. I can understand why he was chapped with the before mention...
