What a shame I'm not quite ready to take them off yet. I've got another idea cooking for the rear suspension and will be be getting rid of the N85's.
Did you get them yet? I'm sure they'll fit the bolt studs now.
Whoa! Cool new feature to the site. We can create photo albums through our user control panels or profiles.
On your profile page on the right side column under the friends list there's an option for albums.
Sweet-er-ree-doo! I tested it out with a few...
Excellent!
I had to make some spacers with tubing to fit inside the bushings so they'd fit my shock bolts just right. If I remember correctly, these shocks are really for a Toyota application. You might be in good shape.
Aaron,
That shock isn't even designed for the Frontier, so really that information won't help you out. There's a long road that will take us to why I chose that shock. But I'll spare you.
It's the same shock that comes with an OME Tacoma kit from the early 2000's (I don't know the exact year...
Totally off topic, but you can get a nice glimpse of that silver D40 at this page:

It's a beauty.
Everything from vasoline to gasoline.
So which one did you buy?
Superb tale. All adventure travel should be thus. And renamed "living life." Inspirational without the altar call. Nice work.
Mounted to the Yak cross bars. But the Bajarack is just a basket - it needs something like the yak bars or factory roof bars to attach. You can't (okay, shouldn't) just bolt her down to your roof's sheetmetal. :snorkel:
I might have a photo of the bajarack's attachment brackets that come with...
I saw you got one. Right?
Share away! It's one of those things, man, you know the money is better spent on something sensible, but like Jack Nicholson said in Bucket List, "Never waste a hard-on." A picture of a snorkel will do the trick.

Since I'm here, I wanted to share...
Lightweight . . . this needs to be mentioned. This bad boy (Baja Rack Mule) is 27 lbs. That carbon steel is a miracle-wonder. I've got an Olympic Mountaineer Rack for my Jeep that weighs 45 lbs and it's only 24"x48" (which is smaller than the Baja Rack Mule). Brilliant.
A similarly sized...
Three teenagers. Whew.
Think of the possibilities should the need arise to kick them out of "the house."
To a degree, I like the idea of traveling with teenagers over toddlers because - for starters - they don't poo in their pants, or need help wiping, and they can feed themselves. But the...
This adds a new level of adventure to the trip! Swing by the grocery store, drive around back, everybody jumps out, snags a pallet, tosses it on top, and the driver fires off within 10 seconds.
Pallet wood. I love it.
Correct, if you locate a free wi-fi connection, Macbook will do most of the thinking for you.
A really good place to get free wi-fi in most towns and cities will be the public library.
That looks brilliant.
It got me very excited for a moment until the folded dimensions. 63"x84" places it out of the question for use on a short bed pick up. My wife's dream of going back to a Jeep towing a trailer is more of a reality than my whacko notions.
Great posting. Sorry about your leg, but thanks for putting up the details.
I've been rescued by the Sheriff before in an instance where I was able to relay my coordinates via cell phone to a person at home. Frankly, the sheriff's office in the county I was in knew exactly what to do with lat...
