    Keep the Stripes?

My first reaction, without seeing the pics, was kinda like "Stripes?" *shudder* But I think it works on your truck... The hood blackout and white roof balance it out.

    Disco I key codes?

Bumping... kind of at a loss here, fellas. I've called half a dozen dealerships around the country and twice as many locksmiths. Apparently VIN-based keycodes for '95s are no longer available. (?!) I really hope that isn't the case... ripping door cards and an ignition barrel to replace a...

Talk me into, or out of this Defender 110. I'm too far away to check it out. (NC)

Dr Aaron has his supporters and detractors. I've communicated with him a few times about different trucks, and never had an issue... but I've definitely read other kinds of stories, too. My impression is that his ostensibly good prices reflect the "enthusiast trim" they're offered in -- i.e. a...

    Requiem for a V8

To be fair, lotsa naysayers here would have no problem dumping $100k (if they had it) on an ECR 110. The prices Defenders command in the states is the biggest ripoff out there -- where are the 5 pages of "what a ripoff!" posts whenever someone lists a rusty '94 D90 with 140k mi for $22,000...

    Disco I key codes?

I don't need the security/transponder code, but the actual code for cutting the key blank itself to fit my locks. This is normally obtained via the VIN, but I'm not having luck finding a place that has a code for my year's VIN#.

g4 fully equipped challenge truck discovery 2

"you're" "an" :sombrero: I can see where you're coming from -- a 2003 with those miles, in that condition, OK, got it, not worth $17k. But if you're trying to offer an objective opinion on the truck's value you must factor in the G4 heritage, because that's added value to many people. Then you...

g4 fully equipped challenge truck discovery 2

I understand the culture of mods not paying off in the long-run, in terms of resale. It's the same with motorcycles as well. It's just a reality. All things being equal (i.e. this being a legal/easy truck to register), in my view it gets added value from the little things like the winch tray...

    Disco I key codes?

Anyone know where I can get a key code for a 1995 DI? Local dealership/shops/locksmiths aren't able to help as their databases don't "go back that far." There's a company out of the UK that claims to have codes, but I have know idea if they're legit or not...

    Range Rover P38 diesel conversion

Most of the Rover aftermarket companies carry them... I prefer Columbia Overland, but a lot of people also like Lucky 8

Yep. Holds the motor like it isn't there.... but damn they are some stiff springs.

    Range Rover P38 diesel conversion

OME XHD will work just fine, as well, and will you give you a nice ~2.5" over stock stance.

    Snorkel for Disco 1

The Mantec looks the best, IMO. It's relatively discrete and fits the lines of the truck very well.
