All in good fun brotha.... :)
What insurance company is it? Seems like it shouldn't be that hard to get them to come. We all know it SURE isn't hard to get them to take our money!
goin camping.... Feel free to put me first in line for either the 42 MB or the 53 Dodge Bambulance! :) Drool. The Army still keeps me thin enough to squeeze behind the wheel even if the rest of me is getting destroyed. haha!
I would be inclined to wait until the second year of the diesel being...
Thank you sir! Its a little home made and a little bought. :) If you check out my thing one/thing two thread here I think I explain it? Short version...The bumper itself is from JCR and is a DIY kit. I welded that up and then used it as a base to build my own ARB style knock off. I'm happy it...
Thank you sir! All the actual "bumper" part (center line down) is all JCR's DIY kit. I just fabbed the upper and it came out pretty much like I had hoped. :)
bump bump
Today I finished working on the bumper...Woot!
Got the winch in its hole and the thing put on the XJ for the last time. I drilled out the holes for the lights to mount but had to do some paint touch up so they aren't on yet. I also need to find some big electrical connectors for the...
Bumper....Check! :)
Thank you sir! Bumper is about 90% done as of today! Still need to make new wires for the winch and mount the fairlead and lights... but here is it. :)

^He pretty much nailed it. Any XJ newer than 91 is a good bet over all. Getting better would be one with the 8.25 rear. Other than the well known dogs turd Dana 35 in many there really are not many that are a bad choice. The 4.0 is (IMHO) the best engine Jeep ever came out with...period. The AW4...
Not at all! A sway bar would at the cost of flex (just like a front one) but a trac bar on a leaf sprung vehicle does nothing positive for you. Honest. Don't believe me then just disconnect one end and tie it up then drive around a bit. If your running both front and rear TBs I'd yank 'em out...
Fair wear and tear for the most part. Over time, heat thins the grease which works its way out. From there you have metal to metal contact and its only a matter of time. Plus, since HB lives in salty road-ville, that can expedite the process. :)
