Chrysler on boad with 54.5 MPG CAFE requirement for 2025. Fingers crossed

You forgot rule 11... When a society fails to hold its leaders in account or elects those that are popular but not qualified...bad ju-ju happens. (that's an official rule by the way... heehee!)

Chrysler on boad with 54.5 MPG CAFE requirement for 2025. Fingers crossed

^correct^ so here's mine. ;) As long as we insist on gasoline as the fuel of choice for the masses, something major will have to change in the technology to make them efficient. I honestly don't believe that the solution is in multiple drive systems or electric cars/trucks or floating...

1973 Wagoneer - Full Size Camping Goodness

Good to hear you made it. Hot fuel is a royal PITA to deal with and the 360 in my Scrambler has been known to have the occasional issue. Try and ensure any and all areas where the fuel line runs is either as far as possible/practical from exhaust and other heat sources. Where there is no option...

1973 Wagoneer - Full Size Camping Goodness

How hard can it be? It can't be that hard to locate a pre 80s NT 44 for a Waggy, can it? IFSJA is where I would start. Then hit Craigslist and be willing to travel a bit. God knows there are hundreds (if not thousands) of rusted heeps laying around to be had for a song. You could buy the whole...

1973 Wagoneer - Full Size Camping Goodness

Plans for it relating to expo type stuff? My last FSJ (83 F/S Cherokee) was great since I could sleep in the back in relative comfort but I'm only 6'. Looks like you have a nice ride but I bet you didn't tell the GF that lil slip of the tongue... haha! Can't wait to see where this goes. And...

    98 Jeep ZJ "SHTFV"

Looks great (not surprising for you! haha) and of course I have a question... Why not add "speed holes" to the can holder part or at least the bottom to allow water to drain out? If you had dimple dyes you could make big strong holes with little/no loss of strength... Last thingy... would some...

    SYE on NP231 2000 XJ?

^true^ My only issue is that if you trash the drive shaft and its still a slip yolk... your kinda screwed as the fluid has a fun time drooling out the back.

    SYE on NP231 2000 XJ?

Here is a link to the H&T. There are a few ways to get your SYE done with varying level of costs and strength improvements. You can get a Chinese made full shaft replacement pretty cheap but that's up to you. You can go with one of the more expensive but higher quality kits like JB Conversions...
