Can't help but throw my hat in the game.... "2 gallon water reservoir"? That is literally enough to fill up your water bottles throughout one single day... The pvc shower on the exterior looks like it's basically hanging from the strut roof rack? I have to admit, at first I thought the interior...
Check boat repair places. They install a lot of webasto products are are often certified dealers for webasto. No idea if they would be able to repair it (I wouldn't be surprised if you had to send it back to webasto to have them replace the glass).
I came really, really close to purchasing one of these about a year ago. Went as far as to call Unicell and talk to a rep about these boxes, because I have rarely seen them. They say they don't sell many of them, but they are made pretty bomb-proof (as most of the contractor boxes are, and...
Selling a used Colorado Carefree Freedom wall-mount awning. Awning is in used condition, could use some TLC, but is fully functional. Details below:
- 8' wide
- manual crank - manual crank handle end that slides in to awning is missing. I have DIY'd a crank end that works to open + close the...
Miss-matched front/rear rims and updated front-end is funky as well. one would assume that it was bought at auction to flip, but i wonder if the title is clean or if it was in some sort of accident/damage to the front end.
I think you've posted this previously - remind me how many miles it has? /Any recent service records for it? i have a family member that is interested in something like this on the east coast.
Chris over @ ujoint has built out quite a few large 4x4 RVs on the econoline chassis. Apparently a lot go to upstate NY (Long Island/other beaches) and they do pretty well in the sand. I would be pretty scared to test that myself, but if you air down your tires and have some recovery gear in...
OP said ujoint did 4x4 conversion, which use leaf sprung front-ends. 150k 7.3L 4x4 for $28k is a pretty solid asking price... Hard to find good condition 7.3Ls anymore. GLWS!
A bit strange... and i would take a close look at how that DIY camper is built, but seems like a pretty good price. $14.5k for a 2005 4wd F250 is a reasonable price without the camper. Not sure how he "spent the last 25 years building the equipment" since the truck is a 2005 and that would put...
Well, let's just say that if I had $100k to spend on a rig, I'd consider buying this one and putting a TC box on it ;) As for the idea of buying and flipping rigs, I think it's pretty big shot in the dark as to what somebody will pay for your upfitted rig when you finish with it. Prices are...
To answer the original question, it was a ujoint 4x4 conversion, so very legit and solid build. Big question is if current owner remedied all issues related to it being totaled. Previous owner told me that the front axle might have been damaged and the post mentions nothing about that.

We've installed ~40 of the xantrex 2000w pure sinewave inverters at the shop that I work at. They are pretty solid units. Have had issues with probably 5 out of 40. We used to install AIMS, those seem to die after a few years. From everything that I know, renogy doesn't manufacture the highest...
Not to hijack your thread, but figured I'd share here because all things DIY poptop seem to connect back to you, David. Jay Nelson, who is a pretty incredible woodworker, just released a DIY pop-top class online. A bit spendy at $225, but could be useful for those of us interested in how to do...
Have a big group of things for sale, so I figured I'd combine everything in to one post. All are located in Seattle, WA. Only willing to consider shipping if I'm unable to sell locally. All products are coming from the shop that I work at. We have some quiet time and are looking to clean up...
