    Storage Platform for sale....good price?

Probably a fair deal. If you were to ask a cabinet shop to build you one and you said your budget was $300 they would laugh. May not be perfect, but a 4x8 sheet of plywood runs darned near $50 these days, and there is guessing 1 1/2 to 2 in it, plus carpet adhesive other misc... $150 in...

New guy looking to replace his beloved Cherokee, focus on Montero

$700 for 120k less miles. no brainer. That one with 280K miles has got to be very worn out. Plus that one in IN is going to be rusty.

FS: Vehicle Dependent Expedition Guide, Second Edition, Soft Cover

I'm interested. How much difference between this edition (2nd - 1998 I believe) and the latest (4th - 2015 I believe)? besides the additional 104 pages added to the newest edition.

New guy looking to replace his beloved Cherokee, focus on Montero

Agreed, Its not only the safety of you and others in your vehicle, but its also the safety of others on the road. If you are flying out to pickup both rigs, would you really have time to install trailer brakes? With trailer you would be way over the max tow capacity. Brakes are first effected.

New guy looking to replace his beloved Cherokee, focus on Montero

On a trailer or flat towing? Gen 3 rated towing capacity is 5000 lbs. Flat towing (towbar) a Gen 2.5 would be just under that. ~4500 lbs aprox. Trailer? probably not. Would I do it? Nope. Short distances sure. I've towbar towed my Gen 1 with my '93 maybe 30 miles at a crack. That is about...

    94 Montero front hub assemblies?

I agree. Never seen the hub assemblies for Gen 1/2/2.5.... And it is really easy to do the bearings once hubs are off as noted above.

    Unstable Steering Over Bumps

There was a discussion on here within the last year on how the alignment should be set - not just within spec, but actually targeting certain values. None of my trucks feel "darty" on the highway. But then again - they don't drive like an Accord. Both the '92 (115K) and the '93 (185K) have had...

    Budget Portable Air 2015

Awe heck, that 10G wire will act like a fuse at some point, just hard to tell if it is before or after the truck catches on fire. MV50 here - I've had it for at least 6 years. Works fine.

    Dodge Raider EVIL oil leak!

I think you would have noticed if the cam seal leaked when you did the crank seal? What about an oil cooler hose or fittings?

So 4wheelparts, Stockton, CA wouldn't touch my 06 Montero

Gen 2 or Gen 3? No manual locking hub options for Gen 3, I'd think it would be problematic having an Aussie in the front of a Gen 3 as a daily driver.
