I've never used a packer. I'm afraid it would miss a spot.
Put on gloves.
Fill palm of hand with grease.
Drag the big side of the bearing through the grease a few times until grease squirts out the other side.
Rotate and repeat.
Take the time for attention to detail.
I'd have to see the sidewalls. Thin walled tires won't last one weekend on my personal truck.
For example, I shred Duratracs. But Cooper Stt's are fine.
Kinda liked it until I realized it was just plywood and paint. And if you sleep in the bottom cap, then what's the point of the top cap?
Drugs are baad. Mkay.
I think it might be a good little engine. It won't win any races. I wouldn't tow much with one. It's a neat little Land Rover engine. Might be nice for long trips, if all you tow is an off road trailer or two jetski's.
I don't think it stands a chance of getting it's tow rating to go...
''I scored 4 touchdowns in a single high school football game, and I drove a dodge.''
2-3 mpg. 2 measly mpg. If a 2 mpg difference breaks your bank, this might be the wrong hobby.
Finally found a pic of a big Pheonix:
......and looks like my idea of just dropping a cheap simple travel trailer on the back of HD trucks is catching on. I mean, if a f550 flatbed tow truck, can tow a truck or trailer on it's back, why not a camper?
Cool. More of a trailhead basecamp jeep tow vehicle. That's even easier to build for.
These guys make removable motorcoaches. Pops off just like a camper. They'll build whatever, just need your truck for a bit.

When I hear 550, I think of super single 40" military tires. Not sure if that's the route you're taking?

Fire fighting brush trucks and big HD expo trucks aren't too far apart.
There's nothing wrong with the OEM wheels and tires, If you're not...
35x12.5 are minimum spec for around me. Did 34's for years. Jeep, Toy, Fullsize, didn't matter. 35" MT's to play.
So popular is that size, that the trails are maintained around it.
The Raptor is a dirt road Mustang. It's not a real truck.
If you need a truck to do truck things, then get a 250/350 and don't look back. Trying to make a Toyota or Raptor into a cargo hauler is a futile and painful effort. A RTT and too much expo gear will max it out. It's perfect for...
I'll gladly spend at the pump. The pump doesn't fail as often as diesel injector pumps. Lolz.
I just watch for stations that are easier to slide a trailer through, and never stop during busy momo hours. We could play the super easy truck stop diesel card. But only if you're familiar...
Bundutec makes a hardside called a Bunduvry. I just couldn't find many pictures of them. I'm sure he can make a flatbed tray version of it.
Depends how hard you use it. Bundu's are aluminum skinned so that it can be peeled back for repairs. And replacing sections of skin doesn't look too...
They're the same shape. The fullsize has more frontal area which hurts, but it's longer, which helps just as much. Notice how F1 cars are 25 feet long now. That's to reduce aerodynamic drag.
Rolling resistance of the bigger gears and bearings in the big trucks is negligible. Where...
