    Cruiseroutfit's 2004 Tacoma - Build Retrospect & Goodbye

Thanks! Some folks made it seem like it was a required mod. I will take that $700 and go on a trip instead!

No worries. Worth the shot! Pretty awesome to have a truck bases out there, I hate the long drive out there. Hope to meet you if the South East Loop ride gets together.

    Cruiseroutfit's 2004 Tacoma - Build Retrospect & Goodbye

Kurt, Did you ever feel the need to upgrade the valve body for the supercharger? I see that you had to replace it but did you use a stock one? Hope to swap mine over (from my manual truck) and worried that the supercharger may be hard on the valve body? Prefer to leave it alone as it seems to...

    255 85r16 KM2 Set of 5 on stock 2001 Taco Wheels (SET OF 5)

If the wheels sell separate then I would like one! I need one for my spare. Wish I was closer or I would come buy it all from you this weekend! Great deal. Going to have to spend more than you are asking for just 4 tires.

For those considering 255/85/16s...ST/MAXX is coming soon

I was planning on the 255's(on 16's) when my current 32x11.50(on 15 inch rims) run out of mileage some time this summer. If there is that much of a price difference then I might just stick with the stock size like you did. The 265/75's are fairly close to my current 32's, correct?

4 Gallon Rotopax Fuel Cans on sale

Huh, didn't see that. So I lost money using the discount code? Oh well, just a few bucks and my other one has held up great. In a few years I won't remember the $5 more I had to spend.

4 Gallon Rotopax Fuel Cans on sale

Thanks! Ordered one today go with the one I already had. FYI, these can be had on Amazon for $93 with free shipping. So after the $22 shipping that Rotopax adds to their sales it about equals out. I would rather buy directly from the company and deal with them though.

Want to build a rear bumper for 03' DC Tacoma.

Do you have pictures of the hinge mount that is connected to the bumper? I have the same bumper and want to add a swing out for my spare. Having difficulty figuring out how I would mount the hinge thing and gusset it right.

annex for rtt , yes or no ?

I am interested in the same two tents. Originally planned on mounting the tent low so was not interested in the annex. The more I look at it the more I think I would like to mount the tent higher so I could the annex. If I plan on using the annex then I think I would like the Mt. Shasta better...

    Hidden treasures of Dahlonega, Georgia

I know that lake! I will keep it quiet in case you want it to remain unknown. Unfortunately that place is pretty well known and used during trout season and the summer months. Still a nice place but not as serene. Pretty nice fishing in there. The stocked fingerlings are so numerous you have to...

For those considering 255/85/16s...ST/MAXX is coming soon

Where are the pics, Bill? Where did you get them? These are gonna be my next set after the BFG A/T's wear out sometime this summer.

Majestic Mines of the Mojave Desert

Thanks for the link to the blog! I enjoyed it. When I was a kid I had a blast exploring mines around Quartzite, AZ with my dad and uncle. Always enjoyed wandering around the old ruins and exploring deep inside the mines. Thought it was crazy that stuff like that was still around and not...

    2004 tacoma

All of the 2wd trucks that have the same suspension as the 4wd drive trucks are called Pre Runners. Don't know what they call the low riding 5 lug trucks. Only the TRD PreRunners had e-lockers.

    2004 tacoma

Welcome to the Tacoma world! Just bought my fourth last month. If it is a non-TRD model then it will not have a locker (if it is a TRD then it has a factory electronic locker). Unfortunately the TRD axle and non-TRD are two completely different axles. You can find a wrecked TRD and take the...

    Roof Top Tents

Didn't read into that thread but that looks a lot like a copy of BoxRocket's. He isn't currently taking new orders but I plan to copy his fairly closely (for personal use, not to sell). Worth a look at his build also, he is on here and Tacoma World. I also have a big ground tent but would like...

    My KLR

Glad you posted all of this Frank! I used to have a Husaberg 570 but sold it last fall after realizing it did not fit my needs. I have wanted KTM 950/990 for several years but they always been outside my price range. Saving now but just bought a new to me Tacoma so it will require some time and...

Box Rocket '03 DC Tacoma Build

Might have missed it but where did get your chains? I searched but came up with all kinds of options. We don't usually have a need for chains around here and no one local sells them. After last weeks Snowmageddon I figure it would not hurt to keep at least one pair in the truck. I managed to...

    RTF's 03 4door Tacoma Build

Nice to know that I am not the only one! All my friends think it is funny that I prefer the smaller trucks. I think the tacoma has a ton of room compared to my first and longest owned truck. A regular cab '86 Toyota pickup. Good luck on your build!
