This happened a couple weekends ago and I'm finally getting a chance to share some photos. Best turnout so far for the event, with awesome food, wine tasting, live music, yoga, games and of course plenty of wheeling in Hollister.

Taxes/customs fees will most definitely change your all-in cost and in almost every case makes it not worth it. Another factor that many don't consider is warranty claims. What is the process of getting replacement parts when necessary, or even a full replacement if there is a defect that...
Picked up a set of Chevy 63" rear springs yesterday. These are a more common swap for rockcrawlers because of the excellent flex, but they are also supposed to ride pretty well so I decided to give them a try. The nice thing is that they are cheap, and it's not that difficult to switch back to...
Great project! The diesel will be fun in that truck. I really enjoyed my '93 with the 22RE and this body style is my favorite of all the Toyota minitrucks. Subbed.
Are you looking at a new rack or do you plan to keep using the factory rack? If you're replacing your rack, I'd suggest a Prinsu rack (I LOVE mine) but they haven't released a rack for the 100 Series yet. Gamiviti is another good rack option that works well with the tents. The Eezi-Awn K9...
I was stuck in Utah and not able to attend TepuiFest but everyone I've talked to that was there said it was fantastic! Pics should be coming from various places over the next several days.
Wow! Thank you for sharing that experience! It's always great to hear about stuff like this, especially when it shows just how durable and comfortable the tents are. When I get asked the question, "why bother with a roof top tent? can't you just use a good ground tent?" This is exactly the...
This is the problem with buying a tent from one of the many different new brands popping up all the time. Most don't have the capital or business plan to do much more than the first few shipments and they end up going out of business after a year or two. Sorry you're having to deal with that...
well, didn't get much time on it this weekend but we removed the lower valence and trimmed the front fenders to be even with the bottom of the grill for a little better clearance up front and less chance of rubbing tires since the axle will get moved forward a couple inches.
Also started...
I will say right up front that this will likely be a much slower build than any of my previous ones. Mainly because this truck is for my son and he's playing a major role in the work including the money side of the mods. All that said, I'm excited for it. I've always loved the 1st gen Hilux...
Here's another reminder of TEPUIFEST happening this weekend, Oct 14-16 at Hollister OHV Park! Don't miss out on a great time.

Now is a great time to be purchasing that roof top tent you've been thinking about. Prime camping season is upon us. Make the rest of your camping this season more comfortable and memorable! As always, 10% off for forum members!
That's more what I was going for but not as "warm". Oh well. I'm sure they'll get redone again after they get scratched up. A lot of people think I should have kept them black but everyone runs black wheels. I like black, but change is needed sometimes.
