Blitz has the gas cans but I don't know where you can get the water cans. I have 2 rusted out water cans and have thought of lining them with a non-toxic coating for water use again? Any ideas? Figber glass or a water tank coating?

If you can upgrade to a Dana 44 go for it. I ran a D 35 for 145K miles with 31" tires and and ARB lockers in my YJ with no issues. I did upgrage my axle shafts when I added the lockers. The c-clip is kind of scary. Go easy on the clutch and stay with 31" tires and you should be fine with...

If you are moving to CA I would checking with the DMV / smog testing to see if you can change the trans to a manual before doing the conversion.

Nice find I think I would loose the side compartment on the left to allow for more inside bunk space? Or you could use it for long itmes like skis etc.?

I'd check at an RV store like Camping World or a marine supply place as they would have different sizes of water tanks and 12volt pumps

Do you sleep under that rack? Is that an Olympic rack? It looks like a lot of work for the space you get out of it. Why not just get a tent?
