    Scout vs Aterra

I went with BEAR adventure vehicles. No idea on the weight, hopefully less than 1600lbs.

    Scout vs Aterra

Not yet. I think the shell is built out but the interior build is coming up next. I'll be sure to post along once I get the camper. We did go over the design in a Sketch Up mock render and I'm very happy with the interior design overall.

    Scout vs Aterra

I've seen quite a few FB group pictures of condensation around the aluminum edge trim on the inside of the Scouts. To fight this some owners have used neoprene tape along the edges where there is thermal transfer. OEV uses something similar as well but theirs is a soft wall canvas so it's...

    WantedTB: FWC Hawk Flatbed (found)

I’d jump on this one https://forum.expeditionportal.com/threads/2017-four-wheel-camper-hawk-flatbed-camper.240815/#post-3152641

    Scout vs Aterra

I've been in both Scout and the Aterra. I don't think the Aterra makes a good "ski chalet" for a few reasons. The angled roof eliminates the option for a full height hanging closet or overhead storage bins/cabinets. That's essentially a must for a ski chalet when you're trying to hang snowy...

    Dirtbox Overland

The margins are on these things are extreme too. Someone posted on their IG that they bought the same/similar camper from Alibaba and paid $2300 + $600 shipping from China. No reason to buy marked up China made *hitbox or Bynd4x4 campers when you can get the same camper from Alibaba for less...

2004 Tundra 103k 3.4 manual with fleet NOT SELLING

I don't think the pricing is that crazy for both. Lets say the Fleet is $10K. The truck, if in good condition with low miles as stated, is probably a $10-$12K truck. I think the price is high by maybe $2-$3K but definitely not absurd in any manner.

Lexus GX550 Overtrail vs. Grenadier or new Toyota Land Cruiser?

Only way to know is to test drive them and get in seat feel. I know that’s probably tough since dealers don’t have the GX550 or LC yet and you probably have to put down a deposit or reservation of some sort and I think Ineos is still catching up with pre-orders. I guess it depends on time...

    Dirtbox Overland

There’s nothing wrong with imported products. My shoes, clothes, duffel bags, laptop, cellphone are likely all made in China or SE Asia somewhere. China has certain production facilities and manufacturing capabilities that the US doesn’t have. My LC is made in Japan and my Ram is made in...

    Dirtbox Overland

Wow, didn’t know that and I expected more. They priced their stuff nearly the same as American and Aussie made products which is a joke. They’ve done really well with their marketing and have a lot of shops selling their junk. It makes sense why they have such good lead times and why...

    Dirtbox Overland

From what I understand Dirtbox is another product and line from Couch Engineering in Denver. I think they build LMTV's and Unimogs. They definitely have the production capability to build a good product.

Alu-Cab Canopy Camper w/ Full Goose Gear Kit

It doesn't have to be made the Gladiator specifically. The camper body itself is universal. All you would need is the correct fitment kit which I believe is like $500.

The engineers have been busy at FWC

Late but they had to do it. They've been dragging on and using 30 year old technology forever now. The lithium upgrades and underbed storage is a nice upgrade. The lifting roof actuators is nice as well but looks kinda janky to me. At least the internal one isn't too expensive. Truma and...
