Hostile Lands of SOAZ: Dragoons to Chiricahuas, April 25-27

You bring the James Taylor. That'll be pimpin' kewl. *** for the record, I put this together then emailed the local folks I have emails for. Hardly an official invite. So, it's posted here for, you know, good vibes toward all ExPo-ites who like to get in their rig and drive a dirt road...

Hostile Lands of SOAZ: Dragoons to Chiricahuas, April 25-27

 I can't turn anyone down in public, lest I look like a jerk. Lucky you Seth, you qualify as a pimp: "usual suspects, cohorts, critics, pimps, campmates, trailmates, campfire drinkin' buddies, tall tale tellers, and other no-good scum of the earth ExPo folk otherwise known as my...

I almost forgot! Brad didn't agree with my assessment of the French press in the latest Overland Journal. So, we’re going to have a little coffee competition to set things straight.

    coil-over suspension Xterra?

The only choice for an adjustable coil over that you just buy, receive, and install is going to come from PRG Products. They're about $700 for the pair and tuned to your vehicle and driving. I think that's classy. It's possible that there are more options out there, but the marketing in this...

    TwoZone Wireless Thermometer

Frankly, I tossed the entire transmitter contraption inside the fridge and didn't screw around with drilling a hole or running the wire out of the fridge. The engel resides in the bed of the truck, too. Transmits and receives fine.

    Random Moon Shots

:Astrologist: Me likes that golf course shot and story. :bigbossHL: When I shot this, I thought it was going to be more spectacular . . . 3/4 moon through the lower window. Turns out it just looks like a white dot.

    Canyon DeChelly/UT/AZ March 19-23rd 2008

I've spoken with the Navajo Nation Parks and Recreation in the past, and you can simply just purchase a permit and discuss possible camping locations with them. That's the best source for info if you want to stay out of trouble.

New QWIK Awning for King Kamper Trailer

Just what Brad needs is to add 5 minutes to his set up time. What's another 5 when you're already putting in an hour and a half? :) Seriously, nice awning. I can't wait to enjoy some shade at Kamp Brad. No poles to trip over.

ARB front bumper for late model Frontier

Such a beauty. The Shrockworks bumper is a nice - very nice - choice being beautifully designed and crafted with attention to detail . . . however the ARB bumpers have a little more refined look to them. I'll have a shrock bumper for sale if the ARB units ever hit the U.S. :)

    Eezi-awn questions

Bill, consider the next size up. I've got the 1200, and with the two of us plus a baby it's getting tight. Brooke and I are "normal" sized folks in the 5'8" neighborhood and the 48" width was perfect for us, before we were three. (Guess how we became three . . .) There was an improvement in...
