I was just thinking . . . So you're from Wyoming if you're coming, and Georgia if you're going.

    2007 Wrangler safari rack

You ought to look at storage ideas for inside the Jeep. Tuffy drawers, perhaps the Mountaineer Rack, etc. I agree with these fellas about the roof rack. Geesh, and I have a roof rack on my Jeep. It's a poor place to haul equipment, but they are nice for attaching awnings, affixing radio...

Another good reason to run Airbags

Right. I believe that full suspension air bags will provide far more range in height. Bags designed for just improving your load management and road manners with added weight are just not large enough to make more than a couple of inches worth of difference. Park on a rock. Call it done. :)

    So, how about my photo's?

How fun. I like 'em. My tastes tell me that you could do some really interesting cropping with these. I've attached my rendition of your chopper photo. I don't think you need all the blades in that one. I also attempted an adjustment to the levels so it didn't seem so overexposed, but that's...

    How to fill Firestone airbags.

The leak is slow, very, very slow. So slow that your standard method of spraying a little soapy water on the connections and bags didn't reveal the culprit. The thought of swapping out the bags isn't all the fun, but I see your point. Gracias. Must think beyond the air bags. I still have...

    How to fill Firestone airbags.

About 35 pumps with one of the small carry-along bike pumps fills my bags to 15 PSI. Both bags plumbed together. Not bad. Now . . . the only problem is that no air suspension set up is perfectly sealed, so every few days I've got to give it a few pumps. Admittedly, a compressor would be a...

:xxrotflma Dave and Gary must be running for President. You fellas sure know how to take a simple question and complicate the whole thing with information that hardly pertains. :)

Antenna location for Jeep Wrangler with roof rack

For the sake of clearing the garage, I put the antenna low and used a 48" (I think). Here it's on a ball swivel mount (Hustler C-32): Did you want to mount it on the rack?

    Raw

Good points, good advice. Noted. I didn't think about that reviewing bonus of shooting in JPG and RAW. I haven't tried Lightroom, mainly because I've shot fewer than 60 frames so far. I suspect I'll end up with Lightroom because everyone else likes it.

    Raw

Jeez, man, if we were a matter of miles apart I'd say we need to go have a cup of coffee together and hash some of this out. I'm working with RAW for the first time too. What I've learned is that, for web production/display, RAW is largely overkill. Unless you're a picky artiste. That's my...

    Frontier front diff conversion.

How difficult is that to fix? How detrimental? I've got no idea. Full diff replacement, just the shaft? *** I think what Greg is saying there (in some round about way) is that the drive train under discussion is actually quite robust since this failure doesn't happen that often?

    Best Awning?

It seems to me that the Hannibal awning is the easiest to set up since it's "stakeless." I invented that word. The Hannibal awning doesn't have ground legs, but horizontal supports from the rig. Which I totally dig that design. I think that's the easiest. As such, those supports need to be...
