I have several items from ATC and I find the quality very good. After watching the video of Drifta it appears that their items are also to be considered in a decision as to which one is worth the bucks. I have no holes in any pocket but do appreciate quality goods and at this point in my life...
I cannot even begin to tell you how angry it makes me to hear of people wrapping every bowel movement in plastic for eternal preservation.

4 feet of pipe is about 2+ gal. Lot of work and expense for so little water capacity. Located under the vehicle (as is the fuel tank) is a bit of a hard reach. Yes?

Why not use ABS pipe, same type of fittings and it is already black? One step gluing process not two.
I have made these before for my construction truck but put the faucet on the bottom to get all the water out and put it at an angle for better drainage.
Seems like a lot of extra steps in this...
Yeah David13, I wash the thing, you don't? I also wash my clothes, my Rover, and clean the rest of my kit and refill anything that got used after a trip. So I am ready to go the next time.
If you buy the quality Nato cans and not the Chinese crap you will more than likely not have this issue. Trying to save a few bucks will not really gain you anything but heartache.
My LR has three sun roof glass openings. One opens for air at the front seats. Since I have a full roof rack there is not a lot of surface area exposed but I did put some of that silvered bubble wrap in the middle hole that is just above my head when sleeping in the Rover to cut out the light.

"Traction control can't make a bigger contact patch" I get that but my tires are 10.5 inches wide and I am not really going to improve on that very much by letting a few pounds of air out of the tires. The air bags take a lot of the road bumps and I have not ever found them lacking in easing...
