    LR3 underhood compressor

Having never aired down the Rover, it escapes me that people do it. That what the traction control is for, right? I have a compressor that resides in a 50 cal ammo box behind the second row seat. It is left over from two previous vehicles, probably only use it for inflating a flat tire after fixing.

    Safe for LR3

Thanks. Hard for me to believe that as many LR are out there no one makes such a thing. LR forum has no response either. My rear seat space is taken with other things. Besides that is too far away from driver/passenger.

    Swing-Out Trash Bags

You could always paint over the logo. I find a logo that large visibly excessive, sort of takes over the vehicle that carries it. The bag is a good choice, and the rubberized or plasticized fabric less prone to having trail dust stick to it as it does on my Trasheroo. The bag started out black...

    Threaded Battery Terminals ?

My guess would be that without posts on top there is more room in the engine compartment but the idea of corrosion control seems more reasonable.

    Safe for LR3

Does any company make a drop in safe for the LR3? The space in the console that holds the little cooler would be the place. I don't have a need for the cooler and just use the space for storage of snacks and such.

Anyone make anything like the Camp Cover tool bag?

check with this company. They have many things and their tool roll is exceptional. I have one and many of my friends have them. I never thought I would spend this kind of money but it is worth it and after several years it still is like new. https://adventuretoolcompany.com

    2012 LR4 Overland Project - Build Journal & Blog

To save weight you could take just the tire and not have it mounted on a rim. Like the idea of a coffee grinder, how are you going to power it?

Is a swing out tire carrier worth it, or more of a PITA than it is worth?

Your family is more important and anything you can do to alleviate their fears and give them more than the illusion of safety the better. Losing a few MPG's is no loss in my book. Keep the kids smiling.

Anyone have any experience with the James Baroud Eco Bag or RTT Luggage Bag?

Per the first post: I understand that the Trasharoo may not be waterproof but putting trash directly in the bag seem a bit foolish. I use a large plastic trash bag inside and throw it away when I reach civilization. No smell or crud in the thing that way and certainly not wet trash. I use the...

Grand Canyon Experts; Sleeping Bag Rating Question?

I would have gotten a poly filled bag, they are much less expensive and still warm. Unless of course you are putting the down bag in a dry bag to keep it from getting soaked. If it is too warm you can always sleep (fully dressed) on top of it and use it to enhance your sleeping mat. Did the...

Coleman Addiction.....for pesants. ha ha ha!

I just got one of those, great stove. It fits neatly in a Folgers coffee container, the one with the plastic body and lid. Keeps it from getting whacked in the camping drawer in the LR. Room in it for small funnel and matches as well. I keep extra gas in an REI fuel bottle for it and the lantern...
