    2020 Defender Spy Shots....

Well, 2020 means the release is about 8-9 months away I remember how new models go to market....could be wrong! On that note, seeing a full-size hanging spare on the back gives promise to a large fuel tank with range for petrol, and definitely for diesel. So.....the wait continues but I have...

    O2 Sensor Help

If I remember correctly, I did my driver's side through the wheel-well or from the top but I had all of the heat shields off. Going off what I remember, there is almost no room up there to access it without removing parts. Sorry, I can't help more, I did not remove the O2 sensors, only...

    So... what do we think?

Agreed that it will most likely be defender driven but IMO, if that was going to take place, they would have to have years of reliability on the Defender documented or it would crush the reputation right out of the box. Probably something boring like "LR Defender Trophy" or "Defender...

    O2 Sensor Help

X2 on going the route of MAF, MAP, and PCV valves. Denso for all electrical components and you can get them from any LR dealers. I had the same codes for quite a while, replaced these and no issues. I did not replace the O2 sensors but have them on the shelf from Atlantic British.

Do Land Cruiser folks fret over extended warranties like the Land Rover boards ..??? !!! Doubt it....

Same here, considering the reports I saw last year about how many people are actually carrying insurance in Cali; or should I say, how many people actually do NOT have insurance, ensuring my coverage is high enough all around is the only smart choice for me!

If she followed you home, then you must feed it, water it, and nourish it! And keep it! lol

Atlantic British unrolls Terra Firma 18" steelies for LR3

Your TPMS from your LR wheels should fit in the steelies just fine if you are looking to just swap them ever at the tire shop. Just make sure the ECU is reading them before you drive away from the shop so it's on their dime. Modding your truck to fit 17" wheels "IS" the best mod you can...

    LR3 Aux switch bezel

Here is my final install. If you want to see a switched option for the manual operation of the monitors and USB, hit up my build thread and you can see my schematic and how it works. Great product @Abran; I love it and fits my interior build perfectly. Link to Amazon Blank-off switch covers...

    Project Victory_Overland 08 LR3 Build Thread!

Installed the bezel and ran my main Traxide harness into the cab through the firewall yesterday. Things are slowly coming together as I piece the interior together and get ready to cut my sleeping platform and take the seats back out since Mom and Dad are gone! Here is the bezel install, I...

    Project Victory_Overland 08 LR3 Build Thread!

Today I was messing around a bit with my sweet LR3 switch panel bezel from @Abran. My plan was to wire it up to read volts off my primary and house battery on the truck but have it switched so I can monitor battery volts with the key off; "Camp Mode" as I shall call it! So, after running...

    2020 Defender Spy Shots....

I'd have to agree that we are arguing two completely different animals. I'll disagree with the IFS being for high speed, smoother racing only. Hammer trucks CANT run the same speeds with live axle trucks as IFS, however, do perform better at lower speeds with the articulation of live axles...

    Looking at a LR3

This convo goes round and round every few months. I'll inject my opinion that you are missing out on many great vehicles by limiting yourself to a HD package with a locker! Yes, a locker is a great addition to the LR3 package, but surely not a requirement. I have found one instance that a...

Lucky 8 12 Days Of Christmas Sale Day 6 The Rover V8 Head Gasket Kit STC4082

Can you do a head gasket sale set up "KIT" for an LR3? I know its about a million parts but would be a great sale for genuine timing chain tensioners and head gaskets for LR3. Just a thought!

    Project Victory_Overland 08 LR3 Build Thread!

The Victory Project has been a bit slow over the weeks as I finished up some school and have the family out this week. In some spare time, I was able to drop the headliner and panels off for covering at a local hotrod shop here. The new headliner covering and side panels were all done for a...

Super Loaded LR3 Control Arm Questions

Awesome! Yeah, I ordered new bolts with mine since the kits at AB were relatively cheap to add new hardware as well. Thanks for the follow-up on this, just wanted to make sure I don't need something new for the poly set-up on my spares.

New Electric Rivian Truck To Challenge Land Rover

Very true...concepts are generally test vehicles for future production! In your example, the Roadster was the test vehicle for the Model S technology for almost a decade. And then my $65 Tesla stock went to $300 and smiles for miles! There is a large gap in the electric pick-up market that...

Super Loaded LR3 Control Arm Questions

You can source the Timken wheel bearings from Amazon or other local stores and since your axle while out of the way for the upper control arm, IMO, that is the time to do them! Couple thoughts on the UCA removal. If you are doing struts, super easy task! Once you support the suspension, let...

Super Loaded LR3 Control Arm Questions

I did uppers and lowers at the same time. Both are a relatively straightforward process and not really any different than any other IFS vehicle I've done. I guess if I had one suggestion and this, of course, is completely budget related to your liking; I would do wheel bearings, axle boots...
