? - Voltage Regulation when Charging an LFP Battery

I was reading about the Buck-Boost as the method for connecting my Ford factory setup to the aux Lithium....maybe the 50A version as the 100A is too much money.

? - Voltage Regulation when Charging an LFP Battery

I agree on the weight and space reasons for going Lithium, and Shade, just so you know the 160Ah battery is going away Victron says, so grab them now while on sale.

Victron Energy: Alternator/Solar Charging - LFP Battery System

Not trying to thread Hi-jack and I will delete this if Shade minds but I figure this adds to the whole Victron thread.... Here is what I understand Victron telling me to use....with the understanding I never use an inverter so I wanted just a battery charger for shore power. And they offered...

Victron Energy: Alternator/Solar Charging - LFP Battery System

I am really really enjoying this thread since Victron looks to be who I will be working with on my SEMA Transit van. Redarc is willing to give me a Manager 30 at 50% off (so $600) which is a really nice almost all in one solution. But that is still a bunch of money and the more I think about it...

Medications, and their expiration dates. DOD pegs it at 15 years past expiration.

So there is what I tell you and what I would do myself to my loved one that I hope would not sue me.... I tell you to toss everything before it expires, especially in a brutally hot place like Phx or a super humid place. However if all I had for myself or a loved one who I knew would not sue...

    Favorite Tire Repair Kit?

Yes the handle is the nice thing, especially the extra ring they put on the plugger so it holds the gummy into the tire as you pull out the plugger.

    Medical gear

I stopped carrying Epi Pens when the price went over $75ea....now it is a vial and a syringe for almost nothing. Still have a script from my primary and a bit more hassle from the Pharm but all possible with a little chatting. Of course I give intramusclar injections often but it is an easy...

    Medical gear

I never worry about expiration dates.....I worry about heat/cold cycling and humidity. And since I only carry over the counter I toss each year on my birthday...and that cost me about $20. I already carry an InReach for 2 way sat comm and emerg evac.....the pulse ox I have debated on but I...

Australian and British bloggers arrested in Iran

Victron Energy: Alternator/Solar Charging - LFP Battery System

I am subscribing to this thread since I really like the Victron bits in my Tacoma but I need a whole new setup for my Transit.... I also prefer a 1 stop shop which is why I was looking at the Redarc Manager 30 since it gives me solar, alt, battery isol & shore power....but the solar panel...

Australian and British bloggers arrested in Iran

I remember going to Cuba years ago when it was way different than now... You could not take a GPS, had to be very careful what camera you had especially if it had any sort of long lens, and incandescent light bulbs were illegal to bring in...I even remember when they said you could no longer...

    Medical gear

No one I know of REQUIRES an AED, but they are getting cheap enough I am seriously thinking of taking one on group outings and especially to really remote areas which a shock could actually make a difference.

    Medical gear

On brother, tourniquets can lead to compartment syndrome, nerve damage, and sooo much damage to tissue. It is a last resort and should be loosened to check very frequently.....just like a handgun, when you need it not much else will work, but it is usually something you save till the end. When...

So when I look at all the off road incidents that occur.....and injuries that result.... Fuel spill resulting burns/deaths are so low on the list to not change my rear bumper carrier. So many other thing much more likely to cause injury off highway
