KickAss Portable 12v Compressor Fridge Freezers for Camping

Dude long time since I have seen you post....or maybe I have not been on the forum as much :) It is funny you make this statement as I feel exactly the same, in my Tacoma I have a National Luna 52L Weekender which has a small freezer and I like that since I really only want to make ice, keep the...

KickAss Portable 12v Compressor Fridge Freezers for Camping

I have been running a fridge in my rigs 24/7 since 2007 and until 2yrs ago no one understood but now REI and Home Depot have fridges so they are really catching on in the US market. The issue is the customer still needs a ton of education about wiring gauge to support the power draw, dual...

    New to me Dometic CFX95

A 100 watt panel isn't really 100 watts especially not for the entire day. In order to get a good test you need to fully charge the battery and get the fridge cold on house current. Run the fridge from sundownish to sunup and check your battery level. If your battery is really low you need more...

    New to me Dometic CFX95

Nope, you can have the fridge plugged into 110v wall power and 12v power at the same time. If I remember Dometic will pull from 110v first but a quick call to customer service will tell ya. I regularly plug in my vehicle fridge to 110v when at home just to take the load off the battery/solar...

First that is a big big fridge, and it will always work much better full rather than empty. Also your battery list as 76 amp hours, of which you really get less than 1/2, so maybe 30 amp hours, so figure the fridge was started up warm, had to run hard to cool down and even on the low power...

Opinions...Advice Wanted Pls re: best pop up shells for smaller trucks

You would have to double check with Treehouse but I know the owners are boat people and post pic of a couple of kayaks on top, I know a big solar panel didn't impact the roof opening at all.

Dometic CFX50 W Problems With Cooling Only 4 months Old

Absolutely check it on an extension cord, if it works then it is your cig socket having too thin a wire or something limiting the amperage.

I drove out to pick it up since they were new to the camper biz (but the actual company has been around since the 70's), I wanted an excuse to see the east coast and it sounded fun. I am in Phx and would be happy to show it to anyone anytime just send me a message and we can setup a meet.
