One thing i like about ford is the different gear options, I’ve read a few posts about the 7.3. With 3:55 gears, getting about 2 mpg better than the 4:30 gears, if your wanting better fuel economy. The 7.3, 10 speed and 4:30 gears to be is about the perfect combo, tons of low end torque.

More travel and a smoother ride. AEV uses a spacer and pushes the axle forward to gain clearance for larger tires, and on a power wagon AEV requires you to swap your coils out for standard 2500 coils, not a good option for a truck you want allot of flex and travel on.

Ford will nickel and dime you to death, base stuff on ram trucks or simple options on rams are weird add on packages on fords, I’ve see loaded lariat trucks for 80k without heated seats.
