It only takes one VA to do wrong to give the whole thing a bad reputation. The VA is over all a very good thing. It was one or two facilities that caused the "bad" reputation of the VA. I work at a VA that has been number one in the nation in customer satisfaction as recently as last year...

Keep it as stock as possible. As mentioned all you really need is good tires. Have fun with it.

Ford's real world mileage is usually lower than the EPA estimates. In comparison there are some getting close to 40 mpg highway in the Colorado diesel. The diesel doesn't come into it's own until it is broken in which takes time. So if the EPA ran it's estimates off of a new diesel they are...

Yeah get the lowest priced model you can. Add Dynapro Dana 60's with ARB lockers and 37's and it will probably still be cheaper than the optioned out stock Rubicon, but it will be extremely durable......3.0 diesel...GFC camper/topper on the bed, dang I'm getting excited here!

I have Hankook Dynapro atm 10's in 225/75/16 which is the civilian equivalent size to the military tires. They are working out real well.

Good to know. Have you contacted JB? If not you should immediately. I have heard of the Autohomes gel coat cracking being normal but yeah it would be hard to look at those cracks on such an expensive piece of kit. I hope they take care of you. Please post back with their reply.
