Let us know what happens in regard to fuel economy as well, definitely interested there. The 2wd 2014 patriot that I daily drive only gets like 26 I think. My moms 2007 5 speed manual 4x4 hits 29-30 normally

So, dont know if you've made and decisions or changes yet but here's my experience with the rear. I kinda had the same issue. Rear always looked a little low, and it also always dropped about an inch when I put my popup on the hitch (thing weighs like 1200 lbs...). It would be pretty bouncy...

Was a little rough on the jeep this past weekend and the weekend of the trip. Noticed a large "pop" in my steering the other say, presumably as a result of said unnecessary roughness. I went through everything, greased it all, tightened drag link and pitman arms and tie rod ends, checked u...

    Camper shell finishing?

Yeah, honestly, very little time will be spent sleeping or camping in it, a few nights a year perhaps. Normally i will have wife with me in which situation we will have the pop up, or be in a different vehicle. The shelving would end up being a "down the road" type mod if necessary, but i...

mine feels like driving a 43 year old truck. hit the gas and the brakes early if you want anything to happen. I have all but eliminated any vapor lock issues with reworking the fuel system. I regularly go on trips that are several hours and hundreds of miles long up through the sierras. Its not...

Swaybar? Whats that? :) The truck has never had a sway bar in my time owning it, I dont even know if they were offered in 73. It didnt have any provisions for mounting it to the front axle, but it does have 2 bolts under the sides of the frame on each side up front, where it looks like the...
