    1987 4runner travel light build

BTW, just my opinion which doesn't mean doo doo. When you get the new rubber, ditch those newer gen wheels. I like them, but that truck needs some 80s era wheels on it, heck even some steelies with 33x10.50s.

ALTERNATOR recurring failure (22RE). Any help appreciated.

I would start with an original equipment TOYOTA alternator and stop trying to replace pieces. Also, I would replace the battery with the correct one. As for the high beams, my first thought would be the switch.

MOD Xterra or Sell for Jeep?

Uh, not just no, but hell no. At 90k the X is just getting started. Even If you spend $5k on it, that's a lot different than $25k on a JEEP. Do in stages man. Lift and tires if you want. Bumper. Then winch. Who says you gotta do everything at once.

    1987 4runner travel light build

Well, since you asked. Lately, I have taken more of a liking to bone stock, maybe one size over stock tires trucks. For probably, Im guessing, most of us, that's all we really NEED. Yeah, the lifts and big tires and all look sweet but? There was a guy who stopped in the dealership last week...

We love ours. The water heater and tank would be nice, but wasn't in our budget. The cage and storage box are great. The fantastic fan is great. Heat would have been great, but again, wasn't in the budget. Its prepped for AC, but honestly, not having it yet has not been an issue. BTW, ours is...

Moby1 Going Out Of Business? Has Anyone Received A Deposit Return?

Great advice. The wife and I do really enjoy our SoCal, but I second, and third and on guess myself that it was a poor financial decision. Fortunately, I guess?, its the only thing we owe on, BUT, how much more could we go and see if we had just stayed with the $400 M416 and Kodiak tent. We...

Sweet. Had to reseal my roof vent fan today. Fortunately caught the leak before it caused any real damage. Just a small stain on the ceiling. Took it out and cleaned all the old silicone then redone. Going over the top as well with some self leveling after its cured a day.
