1978 Dodge 4x4 van??

What have I found here? Found it for sale near me and am looking for some info. Going to look at it on saturday so all I have is a couple of pics. All I know is it's a 1978 Dodge Tradesman 4x4 campervan.

I had one the same year. I liked it but could never get the carb and intake working correctly. I got so frusterated with it I finally sold it and bought my fuel injected Ford.

Looks like a great 2 stage project. First stage - build a 1st class offroad camper then stage 2 take it out and use it.

I have the same year Dodge Van. They are a little tricky to keep the electronics going with a voltage / rectifier/regulator thingy and an old school ignition system. I put a Mallory ignition box in mine and a an Edelbrock intake and Carb and it is pretty reliable.
