Looking for some recommendations guys, i'm going to be hauling two quads and a dirtbike from Northern Canada to Southern Arizona on a flatdeck trailer, how in the hell do i secure them? Looking for recommendations. My initial thought was just some grade 70 transport chain and good locks, but a pair of bolt cutters and you can just roll the bike away... The quads same thing, but obviously the dirt bike is a much easier target.

The age old adage of if a thief wants it they will take it applies, i'm sure, but recommendations on reducing the chances? Some sort of cable lock? Square chain? Bolting the bike to the trailer somehow?
I would make a bar that goes under the pegs and bolt through the pegs , maybe torx head , in addition to locks

i would just secure them best as possible with cables and/or chains and call it good. Chances of theft would be pretty rare unless you’re parking the trailer for a while.
If it’s that big of a concern, I’d rent an enclosed trailer.

I've thought about renting an enclosed, but I called a couple places and they want ~$80 bucks a day. $1100 for two weeks.

I know were talking tie downs instead of bumpers now but I still maintain you can't install that bumper with an EB truck. The ADD etched skid plate is right in front of where the CAC is. You would get no airflow there, that would concern me especially if towing or slow off roading, which I already have heat issues in that circumstance.

I disagree. First off, take a look at the stock bumper. There's a small gap (3.5" x4.5") on either side of the license plate.

Then, take a look at the ADD bumper. See the ADD Lite, and the circular logo? That is cut out of the bumper, and would provide less than stock, but likely still enough airflow. With that said, I plan on removing that skid plate (bolted on, for this very reason I bet) and having two 4"x4" honeycomb shapes CNC'd into it, providing MORE airflow than stock. One could also drill a grid of 1/2" holes pretty easily that would do the exact same thing.

How big of a flat deck? Does it have stake pockets? I'd be tempted to build some sides and a roof on it. Out of sight, out of mind.
Also might give the bikes some protection from the elements if you care about that.

I'm going to be in Moab around the 10th of March, any recommendations for a good day ride? I'm going to have a buddy with me who's a good rider, but not advanced so nothing crazy, i'll be on a Dirtbike, he'll be on a quad. I'm basically just making a detour to spend one full day in Moab unfortunately.

Has anyone ever torn apart an F150 front diff from an 18 or a 19? With my rear diff un locked, the truck would spin two front tires always, and one rear. With the rear locked, it would obviously spin all four. Even buried up to the doors in heavy wet nasty snow and mud, the front two would alaways spin, but un lock the rear diff, only one rear would spin. Makes me think there's some sort of LSD up there...

I even picked the front tire up on a few rocks and it would still spin both.

Didn't they throw torsen diffs in more trims after 2015? I remember they made a huge deal about it back in 2012ish when it rolled out into the Raptors, but now I think its in a bunch of F150s.

Never heard of them putting any enhanced traction in the front differential except for the Raptors.

It never mentioned anything in the online builder, especially not in the description for the FX4 package.

Perhaps I'm remembering rumors that were swirling before the actual release. I may very well be remembering those rumor pages. You know the ones that have been posting those renders of the Bronco since 2018?
