Did you weld the repair pieces in place with the skins present? I just re-skinned one of mine and may do this for the rear doors.

Did the skins get affected by the heat?

Looks good.

Repair pieces were fabricated as a matching hat section then a flat piece of sheet spot welded to the back, very stiff, after fitting joints were stitched welded a spacer was inserted between the skin and frame member before welding to avoid distortion of the skin. do not run long weld beads to avoid excessive heat transfer. We did not dismantle the door since the bottom frame member only had the rust

Drive train location and install. Because I wanted to go back to the original series 2 set back breakfast/radiator support we had to shove the engine back. Since the transmission tunnel had been replace/refabricated for the ZF automatic this turned out to be not to bad. Of course new drive shafts will be needed

Fab & assembly of floor pan and seat box.
We installed two heaters, one under the seat for Peeps and the other as a defrost unit

Nice, I'm so glad you got rid of the defender grille. Everyone in the uk converted their series motors when the defender came out, you rarely see them now. Thankfully. Nice fab work on the frame (chassis-if you're in the uk :) ! ).
