My wife, kid, and I managed to get out and enjoy some fall colors two weekends past in Minden, Ontario, Canada. We drove 2 hours of slow rocky trail to be alone and ended up at the pictured lake campsite....

So I guess camping in a vehicle is the norm? I guess it saves weight/space for a tent plus the set up and break down thing...

Only picture I have you can barely see tents because of the 20+ rigs we have Riding at River Rock in GA. This is how we are normally camp. Once I start doing vehicle travels I might just put the seats down and sleep.
