Rubicon Springs is a great spot to camp--- very clean- camped on solid granite. River and falls right there!!! Its a 'must do' for anyone that is capable of getting there (not easy).
Also camped at Loon Lake, and Buck Island Lake-- all along the Rubicon Trail. We spent 5 days up there!

I have never done the Rubicon but the scenery brings back memories of camping at the lakes along the Dusy Ershim trail in the Sierras. Awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Nice set up in an enjoyable green location. :victory: Being from the desert, anything green is a pleasant change.

I chuckled when I saw your rig was a Ford. I haven't seen that very often in photo's from Europe. Are they popular trucks in Germany?

Ford try to catch the VW Amarok here in Germany.

But Overall, to drive any kind of Pick Up is a little exotic, normal People drive VW Passat or a Golf,
Audis A4/ A6 or simular ones.

My Pick Up is the only one here in the Street...

Little guy is 21 months. His second trip, loves it!!!!

Got caught in a pretty good Lightning storm.
Found the rain limits with our cheap old tent and overall lack of preparedness real quick!!!
Shake down run successful, want/need list grew quickly;-)
