Frustrating news!

I won't be picking up my Land Cruiser this weekend.

Some issues that need to resolved regarding the tachometer and a noise that may be the throw-out bearing (or the fit between the engine and trans) - which will take some more time. This is a new fit for TLC so they need to get it all just perfect.

But that doesn't mean I'm not dying here!

Roseann that is probably actually good news, they are taking the time to get it right and get it dialed. It is like a house, there is always much more time in the finish work than expected. I have recently been hearing stories of a guy who is on the east coast now but picked up his 3 month project in a hurry before little things were tested/complete. A similar truck but it is getting 12-14 mpg instead of the 24-27 he should be getting and lots of little errors that can sometimes be expected from complex conversions such as yours. It it takes even longer than a week or weekend I would not be surprized or upset again as it can be a good thing for your own sake...

Well-said - I agree 100%. Just let myself get excited and now I'm having to wait, but I do not want problems - especially in the transmission / engine interface!

TLC is great about testing every vehicle properly before it goes into the customers hands. It's hard with deadlines, but they'll get it right!!
