Looks great. How far back did you end up placing it? Looks like you have a lot of room forward to just behind the 2 bars.

The tent sits about a 1/2 inch behind the bend in the rack. I saw your set up on facebook. It looks awesome. :D

Thanks. I am really happy how it's going together and the CVT almost completes it. Say....I haven't taken my annex out, but which way do I need to change the zipper. Rainer.

When you are looking at the annex there is a blue section of the top that slides into the channel where the cover is now. Look to the right of that blue section and you will see the zipper start that goes into the zipper pull. That start needs to be on the left side of the blue section.

Got my tent about a week ago, and finally had the chance to install it. Sounds like I gotta call bobby and get the annex zipper deal sorted out huh? Reverse the direction of the zipper pull on the annex?

I love the setup! My only worry is that the ladder is going to be short after I install my lift and tires. Anybody got cheap DIY ideas??

It looks awesome! Looks almost as good as my FJC. Jk:p seriously though, good to see pics of FJC'S. I'll be in the woods next weekend to officially try it out! Cheers:beer:

Got my Shasta! Thank you Bobby! He really pulled this one out of thin air!

Huge pain in the buns mounting it on the contractor rack though, still have room for my ladders and masts though!

Had to ghetto rig an extension until Bobby ships mine, seems sturdy enough....

Finally got my annex sorted out. Figured out what the velcro on the inside is for after snapping this pic. Can't wait to hit the road, leaving Thursday to spend about 8 nights in this thing.

do u have a pic of the velcro? what are you talking about lol.

No pic, but if you are standing in your annex attached to your RTT. Look at the top section of the annex. You will see horizontal strips of Velcro hook and loop. If your annex is too long to the ground, you can join them together to shorten the length of your annex. I don't need to use it but there are vehicles out there that are not as tall as my FJC. Hope this helps.
Cheers
