Derek's 'BST' Tundra Build

Kirkland! Got it from Costco. Good cranking and cold cranking amps for such a little battery, should be able to jump myself if needed, but mostly for all my accessories. Couldn't justify spending a bunch of money on other batteries with similar specs, this one was only $69!

Awesome, thanks. Ive got the abs so no full size battery under the hood for me. So was thinking about putting my (future) 2nd battery all the way in my tool box. Not anymore.

You can probably squeeze a bigger battery in there if you move the power steering reservoir over more. Ill get more pictures of what I moved.

What are the actual specs on the battery? I don't remember seeing one so small at my Costco. Group size, CCA, Reserve?

Installed my lights on my rack today! Also ran some 4 gauge wire! I will get the specs on the battery tomorrow, sorry I forgot all about that...

Right now it is all show lol! Spent most of the day confusing myself on wiring and where to exactly drill a hole through my campershell (got off work at 3am this morning, so a little sleep deprived). I'm over thinking because I want to clean, steeping back and going to plan everything out tonight and back at it tomorrow!

Nice thread...I've seen your truck a lot on TS, but not a complete time-line/build thread....Man, you change tires a lot!!...lol

Your Tundie has been an inspiration for what I want to do with mine...(Bein the same year and color may have something to do with it too..lol)

And Saturday, i'm going to take a look at a used A.R.E. Z-series cap....So I'm catching up to being twins with you...LOL!

What track/rack system is that on your cap?...I'm thinking I'd like to do the same with some tracks and sliding mounts....Was gonna do it on my hard tonneau, but other than looks, I'm not really liking the hard top...Its a PIA to open and close, and limits anything taller than 18" that I might want to carry...

Have fun on the trip, and be safe!

Little teaser pics. First pic is at point 0.0 on the CO River, next is at Soda Lake. Have to file through 2000 photos and make a trip post. More to come!
