Well sad but happy day today. Ill be selling the Tundra here soon. Picked me up a very clean and nicely outfitted 2011 FJ Cruiser! Brand new 295 Toyo MTs, rock sliders, CB radio and more little things. Got a great deal and only 30k miles! I'm loving it so far!

Congrats on the new ride. Sad day for me as well, I enjoyed this thread and your constant updates. Someone else is going to have to carry the 1st gen Tundra torch now.

Thanks. Still love the 1st gens, just looked at my options and figured I did not need a truck. The girl friend loves both, and like me feels we will have more fun in the FJ out on the trails and road trips! Ill taking this thing 4000+ miles all over the western states in three weeks!

Yeah thats true haha! That was a mini Taco (reg cab), cool, but being 6'5" it would have pissed me off sooner or later lol!

Awesome truck. I have stolen a few ideas from you. I just received the same led pods that you are using for rock lights. How have they held up? Any pointers on mounting them? Did you just use the double sided tape that came with them?

The pods are ok. You have to clean the area really well before sticking the pods on anywhere. The tape is really not that great. Mine all feel off and most got ran over on my Mojave Road expo trip. They did work great, I could have taken more time installing them better and they would have stayed. Just take your time. They are bright.

Yeah it's gone. Sold it to a Nissan master tech, he loves it. He is local to so ill see it around town I'm sure.

Hey Derek...old thread, sold truck, I know. But, I have a question. I see your Tundra was the "Off Road" model like mine, and should have come with the LSD. When you added the ARB R129 locker to the rear were there any issues? Easy install? Thanks man!
