I found a section of 3/8" rubber hose stuck in the socket works great for keeping a grip on the plug.

I'll probably have to wait until next year for a sc, too many other projects and things to do first. Suspension, winch, trailer/camper combo are the top 3.

If you ever come down to the Northeast, let me know, I'd love to check out your truck.

I know the feeling, I have a few big ideas and projects on the go right now and not enough money to go around. Just trying to get everything sorted before I go to Baja in November

Adventure Trailers Bed Conversion?

What do you guys think about the Taco Chaser bed conversion? I am considering this...

Really!? Yes they are really cool, but as for me I would miss having the ability a usable bed when I really needed it. It seems like you have put a lot of money and time into your current bed set up to go that route at this time, but its not my truck. Would it be really cool, well of course and your rig would be they envy of a lot people, heck it already is.

If you have that kind of money and willing to change direction mid stream then go for it man and enjoy one really cool rig:victory:

It would be a change of direction... but I could easily finance the conversion through the sale of a few bits like the rack, toolbox, bumper etc...

This is all just a concept that I am tossing around in my head, no solid plans yet.

That would be cool on your rig!!!!

A paint to match box would be the way to go.....

Things to think about...

  • Rear bumper....How it would play
  • Get cash from your bed and rack to recoop some $$$$$
  • And hey.....Your rig would be a even more of a drool factor!!

Just food for thought...

Dave- Would you really be gaining anything useful from the Chaser conversion (other than it looking TOTALLY FREAKING COOL!)? Are you finding limitations with your current setup that the Chaser would fix?
