Campfire Passport
Been making some modifications and additions to my rear storage this week, and I think that I might have it pretty much wrapped up outside of some small finishing touches.
First up was removing the spare compartment cover and cutting an access hole under the drawer. I just kept thinking that IF something did go wrong with anything under there, it would be a super huge pain to have to pull the entire unit and everything on it out just to get some work done. At least this way I can do an emergency repair or what have you just by pulling out the drawer.

Next up was finishing the water setup. Pretty simple, just made a spot to mount stuff and hooked it all back up. I left the air hose out of the mount in lieu of leaving a little gap at the wall so I am able to coil it up and slide it in next to the water mount, seemed much easier to not have it get all bunched up behind a wall I can’t easily get behind. I also made a short hose piece to add to the spigot so that the water exits outside the vehicle rather than right at the tailgate.

I then added a second “cubby” for some plastic baskets I slightly modified, I didn’t want to have another full size drawer because it would leave my dog with basically no room. Then I added some tie down mounts for what ever I put on top of the cubby.

Then it was time for the big one, the fridge slide.

I made the fridge slide so it included the area behind the fridge so as to make for getting at what ever I stash back there a little easier since I didn’t want the fridge coming out farther than the tail gate. So out side of some fridge anchors I think it’s ready for action.
