Cleaned the injectors and replaced all the o-rings and rubber grommets/seals. Old on the right. You can barely see the top of the lower grommet is torn. Most of the injectors were like this. Clean injector on the left. I'd suggest anyone to do this. Bought the Victor Reinz kit B31696 for about $30. They are really easy to remove and replace.

All of them cleaned up:

Finally took my motor out today. Will work on removing all the wiring for the added accessories, fuse block and air compressor. Once I tape off all hoses and cover all the wiring, I'll pressure wash the engine bay and decide if I'm going to leave it or paint it.

Man it must be nice to work on a vehicle that isn't subjected to 5 months of salt and antiskid a year.

Installed the motor today. Hope to have everything else connected this week. Then I'll be able to start it for the first time in over 3 months...

Put everything back together, flushed out the coolant, plumbed the hydro assist steering and finally started the truck for the first time in about 3 months. Excited to get the truck back on the road and driving again....

Great looking Tundra man. Just read through your whole build and I'm impressed at what you have done. Very clean and functional mods.

Hows the new engine treating you? That engine bay sure is pretty all cleaned up.

So far so good. There's a leak with the coolant bypass joint but, nothing too bad. I have the gaskets on order. As soon as I get them, I'll be installing them. Still need to wire the rock lights, wire up the LED strips for the engine bay, build the truck bed platform and put together the exhaust system to install my S & S (not to be confused with SS autochrome) long tube headers.

Thought I'd add some more LED lights under the hood to help when i don't have a flashlight or head lamp...
