nice tundra. scored alot of good stuff of CL that i have had no lucky with lol

Yeah, CL is nice if you are not in a hurry to get stuff. Usually "stuff" appears when you least expect it and at a great price. There's a bed slide I've been eyeing for awhile for around $300. Just need to either sell parts to buy parts or use the home depot gift card and build my own.

Im not in a hurry but I have been looking for like 2 months so far. I want a utility shell and the drawer slide never seen on CL around my area. All the utility shells I found are all for tacos

My work in progress. The middle platform slides on a pair of garage rails. I'll be adding the rollers/wheels to the platform after I mount the rails with some low profile bolts. There will be 2 platforms; 4' long (as shown n pic) and another 2.5' long. Width is 38.5" wide. Either one I'll be able to mount flatside up or frame side up. depending on my needs. Space underneath the platform behind the jobox drawer will be used for storage. Once this is done, I'll work on covering up the side storage area to make it all flat for those times I need to use it as a sleeping area.

Thanks Haggis!

I worked on the bed project again and finally bolted the rails to the side supports and mounted the rollers to the platform. After all said and done, I'm very pleased with the results. now build the shorter of the 2 platforms, a way to lock the platforms in place, figure out a way to easily pull the platform from the tailgate without having to climb in and them the covers/doors for the side storage. I'm still deciding if I want to cut down the excess part of the rollers. here are some pics. let me know what you think.

Looks like my son approves of the sleeping platform. I'm sure he, his sister and our bassett hound will enjoy it during our camping trips.

Looking for parts and found a complete rear axle with 4.10's and a factory posi for $200. Tore it down today to use the pumpkin and install it into my existing housing. Going to see how the 4.10's are with the 35" tires. If I'm satisfied with it, I'll stick with it and possibly sell my detroit locker or install 4.10's onto it and keep it as a spare or if I change my mind and want a full time locker. with all the spare parts, I pretty much have 3 complete rear axles, 2 housings are ABS specific.

I'm hoping to purchase a Lefty transfer case with lower gears. If the 4.10's are not low enough, I can see if the gear ratios in the xfer case can be changed to help with the "umph" when stepping on the throttle.

Here's the pic of my low cost and great find on CL:

Looks good! I believe only the 2004 double cabs came with 4.10s to cope with the extra weight and the 4 speed auto. The sequoias also have 4.10s.
