How heavy is your tacoma...

I am in complete denial... I am afraid of the scale!

You are not the only one. I ask because while working on my available payload for the Tacoma it looks like I'm going to have to shed 500 lbs with my GVW at 5100lbs!

:yikes:

I'm working on a spreadsheet where you can put some numbers in and it will spit out your remaining available payload. I'll start a thread here shortly.

Cheers,
P

What about the front diff? Where does that breather hose end up?

Most just extend it up to the firewall or opt to plumb it into the air intake.

I need to do that still - I keep forgetting. I've been very lucky so far since I've been over those breathers more then a few times.

Well the BFG's started to leak. Upon closer inspection of the tires, there is a crack on near one of the sidewall treads that when under pressure releases air. Noting like heading out at 45psi and 3 miles latter being at 30psi, needless to say the Extremeaire got to flex its mussels.

So, I ended up ordering a set of 5 Toyo Open Country MT's, and a set of black soft 8's to go with 'em. Now to wait until Thursday to get them on.

I have been having some issues with the battery combiner, and should be installing the National Luna kit today. Now to just figure out where to mount the dual battery controller and I'll start on that project.

Just enough that I thought I had a few more months on them... Not sure, but I'll check and post up later.

Yep sticking with the 255/86R16's, but switching to the Toyo's.

I think I got in the 45-50k range... My truck's at about 120K and I want to say I put them on at around 70-75K, but I'll have to check my receipts to confirm.

Cool rig...

Can your truck get any cooler?
I see some nice shiny Bilsteins under the rear, just in time for this year's sand course I see...
What battery management system were you using before?
Cheers,
P
