Everything is pretty sweet in your truck, Wil, but I am most envious of the status of your gas gauge.

Is that an after market headliner? if so where did you get it?

No, it is the stock head liner, I just cut into the hump that is between the two sun visors. Its just dead space.

I remote mounted the mic as well... I used a 6 pin flat wire made by Phillips. The mic cord connector comes out just below the CB (in the ash tray location).

Wil,

Really a nice install. Where did you pick up the Phillips 6-pin wire and connectors?

Ummm... ok so I was at HRO and asked them about where to buy the wire and connector, they said, *cough* check Wal-Mart *cough*. Sure enough they had them there, actually that's all they had was 6-pin wires and connectors.

Wow.. ever clean the inside of that Rig?

:yikes:
Oh, c'mon Wen. You know how this desert is. You clean it, go in for a cool drink, come back out, and.... it's all dusty again. The never ending battle.

I'm sure you've listed it somewhere in here but I was only motivated enough to read about 20 pages:REExeSquatsHL1:

What was your reasons for choosing the ShrockWorks front bumper over an ARB or something that you would not have to wait 11 months for? Lighting options? Weight? Design? Approach angle? Just cause...?

I had also wanted to ask you this.
Maybe because the ShrockWorks looks so damn cool?

Honestly, IMO the ARB sticks out too far forward on the Tacoma, although it has the look and protection I was after, I just couldn't have the longer wheelbase of the DC and not have the best approach angle I could get.

Looking back at it if I had to do it again, I would sit down and think long and hard about the ARB. With flyingbaby and flyingwen in the Taco, it makes me wish i had a crash test proven, airbag compliant bumper; while yet the shrock is sooooo dang cool and just what I was looking for in a bumper (minus the crash and airbag).

Hope that helps... otherwise keep pecking at me until you get the answer your looking for!
