I'm still here! we have been so busy not much time for the project so i decided to take the cab home and do this at home after hours, most of the cab in back to bare metal, found a few rust sections which i cut out and replace with made up sections..

Well the cab is coming along nicely, painted the underneath today in my $130 spray booth from ebay, actually it is a gazebo but it made an excellent spray booth in the garage! with heater and exhaust fan.. Also moded the dash pad to take the extra gauges hope to get it floked this week.

Looking good Alan
I particularly like the spray booth although im thinking once you get the cab in it could be a tad squeezy
and even more so once you start work on the bedford at john's place

the dash looks good - would they be "supercheap" gauges?
Im planning on using the same ones in a dashpod when i get near civilisation (Darwin)

BTW the gloss on the underside of the cab doesnt look bright yellow to me
dont tell me youve faultered :wings:

keep up the good work - and the regular posts

Hi Stu,
I'll get a bigger tent for john's place that way I can live there as well, may as well make the most of it:sombrero:
No there not supercheap gauges i brought them back from Taiwan very expensive stepper motor gauges.
The color is toyota sandy beige, easy to maintain. and does'nt show scratches and dirt easily.

Give us a yell when you get to Johns, we can park trucks in his driveway and empty his beer fridge

Checked stepper gauges out on e bay about the same price as SC 60mm give or take, do they come with a cal certficate?

Im shocked Alan and somewhat dissapointed, BIEGE will you have to wear a cardigan when you drive it :Wow1:

Hi Alan, Love it . Looks great. You said it was a Toyota colour....is it a Cruiser colour or Camry or something else? Kinda looks like a new FJ Cruiser colour now that I think about it.
