Yeerr nothing wrong with beige, it matchs my cardigan nicely, yes it's the same color as the FJ cruisers, there's no turning back now i just come from the shed, the inside of the cab and doors are now beige:coffeedrink:

May be we should all just arrive at john's place for the surprise!!

Just thought Id bring this one back to the top of the tree so Alan doesnt forget hes got a following for his BEIGE truck rebuild

Alan its been a while since your last update
your not losing interst are you ?
or are you re considering the color scheme :wings:
Has the dash come back from the flock shop yet, im intersted to see what it looks like all back together with your new set of guages, are you keeping the originals working or disconecting them and just going with the steppers
been susing out manufaturing a dash pod for mine so i can put some (4) of those flashy stepper guages in mine
but so far cant decide on what guages to put in

Certainly not losing interest Stu, in fact i have been working on it just about everynight, the flocking looks great! i can certainly recommend it and it's cheap i was charged $75 for the complete dash pad and gauge panel, the color could of been a bite darker but its ok.
Also got the electric recaro's from a BMW fitted up, i just could'nt find a good air suspension seat that would fit for the height, the original dash has 2 fuel gauges now, i swapped the original temp gauge for a fuel so a gauge for each tank.

I doff my cap to your initative sir you are without doubt a visionary
dash looks great although me thinks you might have to take to the rest of it with the armoral and a big dollop of elbow grease
WRT the seats if memory serves me correct Doug Hackney has a nice set of air seats in his truck available in the states, and lets face it with the way the dollars going nows the time to take advantage

so how long until we're going to see it in all its beige glory :Wow1:

The sign in the window made me chuckle.

Is there a reason why you went with steel rub bars, opposed to aluminium ones?

Hi Alan.

Wow!! Scrub bar looks great . Perfect spottie position. Doesn't your model have the 8 nutserts in the roof? Noticed you made those gutter mounts.

$400 for door trims? Fuso are not known for cheap parts. I would have expected that.

What are you doing for headlights?......I just bought some great replacement headlights for my DD.... multifaceted reflectors with flat lens and run HID's. ...... I suppose you are all over that though.

Kind regards
John .

Hi John!

No nutserts in my roof, might be the later models, yeer everything for fuso's is telephone numbers.
Are the headlights direct replacement?
