Very nice. Where did you get those big chunky "ring thingys" and whats the screw thread width/pitch ?
The rings are from the local bolt shop, most bolt hardware stores have this type of item in stock they come in various sizes.

thats what came on the winches but i will be changing it in the future to synthetic rope.Is there a reason you went with wire rope on the winch Alan?
Hi John, its ute liner spray, Raptor brand from memory, i just mixed it and used a body deadener spray gun it really is great stuff, sticks to anything and sets rock hard!Hi Alan,
Looking good. What is that powdercoat colour/texture called? Bit hard to tell......it's not Ripple Black is it?
Kind regards
John
Will you be changing the roller fairlead to a hawse fairlead too, or will you stick with the roller fairlead for the synthetic rope?thats what came on the winches but i will be changing it in the future to synthetic rope.

I think a hawse fairlead would look nicer on that bar.
Where's the fun in that?...we have been so busy lately with no time to play

People do....Yeah???? Wow. Looks great. I should do my whole car with it.....it could just continue rusting away and no one would care. Hahaha.
No the color is great!Just thought Id bring this back to the top of the forum to remind alan he has a captive audience
page 3 is a good place for bikini girls but not a build like this
Or maybe hes ashamed of the colour ???:victory:
Hi Alan,
Your project is looking really good, well done. I haven't checked in for a while. Just about to get serious with my project after a few of life's ups and downs. I read on a page you have diff centres, don't suppose a 5.714 ratio would be available?. Also interested in alloy wheels a bit later.
Regards
Rob from Newcastle.
