Gladiator Pop-Up Pass Through Camper Build

VanIsle_Greg

I think I need a bigger truck!
Well, looks like my camper's little water pump gave out. I didn't winterize it, and it shot craps.

It runs off my power supply and has a built in pressure switch, so all you do is turn on the faucet and the pump kicks in. It's really simple and nice.

I'm looking for any tricks to use this in the winter. Is there some way I can plumb it or a simple/fast way to winterize it, so I can still use the water pump in the winter? I park my truck outside, so any water in the pump will freeze and damage it.
I use RV Antifreeze in mine... I have the same pump. I really need to add a feed tube with a diverter valve so I can pull from the tank or from the jug og AF... but other than that it is as simple as feeding it AF and pumping the lines through. THe nice part about a simple smaller setup like ours, you use very little AF to protect it. In the spring, you simply flush the lines with fresh potable water and then clean your tank as normal and you are GTG!

I used to do this for all of our travel trailers too every winter. Easy to do and worked every time. You probably know this, but those pumps are available on Amazon cheap. Also like that they are adjustable too.
