is there anyone making a 6000lb winch anymore?

i've got a utv winch on the tracker. 4.5k and weighs about 20#'s with synthetic line. its worked for me the 4 or 5 times i've used. i wasn't buried and it is a small truck but it did what a winch was designed to do, get me out of a bind.

In my first reply I said I had a Patriot 9000. No such thing, it's been sitting on the shelf so long I forgot it's a Platinum 9000. Doh!
Amazon still has both the Warn 6000 and Superwinch 6000 in stock. A lot of people will have the Ramsey I'm guessing since it's still in production.

i think id need to clock the freespool to the rear, and i dont think the i can do that with a the vr. am i wrong?

Yes—you can clock the end of the VR winches. VR8000-S is 62 lbs with our synthetic on it.
