Jeep Liberty on the White Rim?

lifting will not keep the tires from rubbing at lock, if I understand you complaint. that's a back spacing issue.

That is great advice, but if cost is a concern the spacer lift is more than adequate. I ran the Daystar spacers and Rancho's for 5 years. I now run the Frankenlift/OME combo. In all honesty I do not feel that there is a tremendous difference between the two. The Franky is more 'plush' for sure, but you are still just lifting a heavy piglet... :)

All depends
stock suspension ( springs and shocks) are pretty much shot at 30,000/35,000 miles on the KJs so adding in a Daystar or any spacer lift doesn't improve the ride at all, and will sag even faster, only a full spring lift upgrades and improves the ride and handeling
As far as going stock you can do it but the overall ride would be much more enjoyable with an upgraded suspension.

Her Liberty has 105,000 miles on it. It rides good, not sure if the shocks are stock or not but I'm sure they all need to be replaced.

I would think that ground clearance would be a bit of an issue, it seems pretty low right now and I remember a fair aount of rocks out there. Of course, I'm more of a motorcyclist than a truck driver so I guess I'd have to remember its not a trophy truck.

From what I have seen so far and with 105,000 miles on it I bet you are sitting about an inch to inch and a half lower than when it was new. New they are about 19 inches on the average from middle of the wheel to bottom of the flare. Most I see at that mileage are 17 1/2 to 18
For comparison mines at 23 1/2 currently, then with the taller tires so I have 5 to 6 inches more ground clearance. helps a lot:)

Good idea, the White Rim is a great chance to see the area. I want to pull a permit and spend a night or two, I think that is the part that needs to be savored. I have done both ends and turned around part way for a day trip.
