I had a Jeep once, an '84 CJ-7. Most fun vehicle I ever owned. It's hard to beat a sunny day in the Jeep with the top and doors off. I would like to have owned a CJ-6 with a Dauntless V6 for a rare, cool old school rig.

I built a bed in my CJ-7, back in '97 and lived out of it during a two month trip around the western US to MT, WA, OR & CA. I rolled it the next summer above Silverton, Colorado and sold it to a guy in Lake City. I've posted pics before, but here they are again for those who haven't seen them. It's still sitting in Lake City, all mangled and neglected. At least it was a few months ago when I went back through there. That was hard to see....

First time poster, been watching for several months though. Here is my rig, it is a 2003 Jeep Liberty(KJ) Sport with the NP231 Command Trac transfer case. It has a 3" lift with 30 inch (255/70/16) General Grabber AT2 tires and, custom upper control arms. I have recently added some Mopar rock rails. Plans for the future include a roof basket, better CB antenna and mount, better lift kit, shelf for interior storage and, driving lights. I hope to get it to Moab and Monument Valley this (2007) summer or early fall.

This one is from a little exploring near the Tennessee River (Kentucky Lake actually) near I-40 in Tennessee.

Excuse me if I goof this one up, as this is my first post in any forum. I have read through this entire post and would like to only introduce myself to this forum. This weekend I will be installing a Dynatrac 44 in the front with ARB in the f&r, changing my gears from stock to 4.09. Putting 33 12.5" Kumho MT tires and American Racing AR-23 Series Wheels to go with the 5 on 5 1/2 bolt pattern. I am attaching a photo of the jeep after a day on the trail and bending a front OME J1F leaf. I will be upgrading to J1Rs' all around this weekend. The Jeep is fun, I have spent a lot of time on this expedition web site and have really been inspired by the work of Scott, his Jeep, and his group in what they do. Mines currently under the knife. Got front & rear ARB's waiting to go in, an 8.8 waiting out back as well. Gonna bend up some fenders & a roof rack. Gonna drop the whole rig down 2' just have it riding on 2.5' OME kit, as Ive relocated The front fenders up 3'. Gonna cut out the rear as well, my homemade 'Highline Fenders'. Gotta a 5.2 waiting as well, sigh. Im going to build a camp trailer as soon as this phase is done. Shes coming along . . .

Another newb and another Jeep. Just your basic Rubi with a few add-ons. I'm not a real big fan of huge builds so the most that is going to happen to it (hopefully in the coming summer) is a 3" suspension lift possibly OME, and then some 33" MTs.
